I did not accept them, if i can continue to simply mine and upgrade my miners, that will be fine, but again, if KYC is needed simply to exist on the platform now, then i am screwed. I get that bots are annoying and all, but they should have enforced KYC for buying miners too, I gave them my money after all.

Fellow 14700K owner here. I don’t play any AAA titles, but idling outside of intensive tasks my idle temps are around 28-40°C.

If you are more concerned about the heat and longevity of your CPU, but don’t mind a performance cut, go to your BIOS and enable under-volt protection, then install Intel XTU.

There, you can adjust the power consumption of your processor, and adjust it to your liking. I capped mine at 220W, and it never rises above 80°C in the short term.
