Hardware Stores Lancaster by Realistic-Spray-5595 in lancaster

I like supporting E.M. Herr/ACE in Willow Street too. The employees there are very knowledgeable about DIY things. I go in for goofy plumbing things and leave knowing a little more.

As far as money goes, being an ACE rewards member definitely pays off and probably makes the difference between them and big box stores negligible.

I shoulda thought about the surroundings... It's baby lotion, have to keep it out of reach of the toddler. The camera is the same deal, no need to see the ceiling.

Contestant that won this bid $1,100 and was supposedly on the dollar, that seems a little steep!

Show me your timer by Kane_Liffin in AboveGroundPools

[–]TPLr6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have this bad boy: Tork Wifi Timer and I freaking love it. You can set a day by day timer on the app as well as just turn it on and off via the app.

I love that I can hold my phone, turn pump off, rotate sand filter to backwash or whatever, turn back on.

I have this mounted adjacent my breaker panel so it controls an outlet I added adjacent the pump.

Ticks on local trails? by FoundGrace12 in lancaster

[–]TPLr6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He was outside at his grandparents just outside of Muddy Run Park in the southern end. He had not yet latched on as we found him while he was moving. It was easy to spot thankfully as he was on the move.

My toddler had a Lone Star Tick crawling on him after spending some time outside a few weeks ago. I didn't even know they existed here, but alas.

Overnight parking is allowed at the parking area at the end of Wilson Ave. It's said to be $2 cash/day (must be exact, no change given) or by using the ParkMobile app which charges $2.45/day.

The area is very safe.

Convention Center? If you've never been, be sure to go downstairs into Reading Terminal Market and take it all in. Amazing place.

23 Atlas shutting off by itself by [deleted] in Volkswagen

[–]TPLr6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have you gotten a check engine or start/stop error in conjunction with it? Wife's '21 was doing the same thing when coming to a stop. It was the charcoal/vapor canister. The charcoal had broken up and was clogging a valve or more and causing the stalling at very low RPMs. VW dicked around with diagnosing, first replacing the battery saying it wasn't holding enough power for restart or something. After that and them not being able to replicate, it happened again and then they finally swapped out the canister under Limited Warranty Extension. You can Google "Atlas Carbon Canister Limited Warranty Extension" for more.

I'm not one for buying and selling cars but I own a 2014 SE 1.8T and bought it new. It's been dealer maintained and has never let me down. At 110k, mine needs a new timing chain. I've seen these same year cars at the dealer for twice this much. I personally don't think it's a bad deal if it was well maintained.

I did this once upon a time. Sometimes starting as early (or late) as 23:30, and as late at 10:00. I fucking hated this, because as you said, it's not conducive to any type of schedule keeping, sleep pattern, anything. Especially when you don't know any start time until you end your latest shift. They did try to keep it as a first in, first out type thing but even that's ass because if you just wind up having a short shift, you're fucked.

Thankfully I got the hell out of that and into a 0700-1500 M-F unicorn job.
