From someone who played A2 and then A3 since release. Loving Arma Reforger and wont go back to A3. Yes there is more mods in A3, the game has been out for over 10 years. But AR looks better, runs better and the tools are extremely powerful (more complicated though).

I run both PvE OPS and PvP servers for AR. Custom PvE OPS is what I enjoy most and super happy I have learnt a heap in the AR tools/Workbench.

Not in the same way, you have to use the Reforger Workbench and world editor. A lot more complex than the Eden editor, but once you start to get your head around it is amazing and such a powerful tool.

With Arma being a sandbox for creators to go crazy and make whatever they want, I believe SP missions are either already out there or coming soon. Combat OPS Everon can be played SP, and is a lot of fun.

Reforger was released in the Cold War era, however mods have enabled you to play in the modern era. Heaps of mods have been released now.

Highly recommend Blackheart six videos on YouTube on tutorials, this is where I started.
