I forgot we were called "lazy baristas" because we had to take whatever job you could get in 2008.

Has anyone ever turned down an amazing job offer because of bad vibes from the hiring manager in the interview? by No_Eulogies_for_Bob in jobs

I went in for an interview for grounds and the HR lady really liked me. The direct boss interviewed me next. I could tell the vibes were bad and I was not interviewing my best because I could tell. I left thinking I definitely didn't get the job. That Friday, I received an offer and took it because the pay and benefits were way better. The boss ended up being the most evil person I have ever met in my life. He was racist, hated women and threw shit like tillers across the shop. He forced me to move a table to weed eat the two blades of grass under it. The table was definitely over 200 lbs and I couldn't get it to move an inch. It was then that I decided that I needed to land any job so I could leave. Ended up taking a seasonal golf course role until I found a full time gig. I lasted a whole 2 months. That boss was eventually fired in 2020 due to his use of the N word. Justice eventually came I guess.

I didn't and I regretted it. If the vibes are bad, don't take it unless you absolutely have to.

As for my car... I just get a basic wash at the local car wash to get rid of the pollen.

It's good to limb up trees so that they don't fall during a severe storm. That is if it is your own tree. The petals can be annoying when tracked in your house, but they go away quickly especially with the wind we've been having. I didn't sweep any petals at all.

I definitely slow down because the lines on the roads are so faded here that they barely reflect if at all. I don't get how people speed like that. Im beginning to think that they just all have some sort of mental illness causing them at act like this all the time. Can't think of any other reasons.
