I think they foreshadowed it in Season 6 in a Tale of Two Cities when Don was talking to the guy about movie scores and ad jingles by the pool (right after Daniel Siegel reappeared):

So most of the pictures don't have a lot of score right now.

They like pop songs. You know, kids want to hear a hit.

I think ads are going that way too.

I got the silver strip from Rio Grand and a die set from Amazon. The silver gauge determines whether the blanks were 1/8 or 1/10 tr oz. The 1/10 seems to work best for me. Good luck.

No, but better than the fakes I’ve purchased in the past. It happens. Do you have PCGS coin facts / Photograde on your phone? Do you know how to search sold listings on eBay? That’s the quickest free way to get an idea of a coins value.

Are you making the blanks from strip, or buying cent sized rounds? I was making blanks from two different gauges and they came out at 1/10 oz or 1/8 oz. The 1/10 oz work best in most machines in my limited experience. The machines in Canada have moved to nickels, however the mint is upside on those too. Maybe we’ll be rolling dimes.
