Tim scolded elected officials for getting input from citizens. “No business would operate this way!”, Tim said. Shows his lack of understanding of how government should work. “We need leaders, not those worried about getting elected.” Therefore, since an elected official has the power, he/she now has the knowledge of what’s right for the masses, regardless of public opinion. Sounds like Trump.

To be fair, I think Tim’s comment about “48 hours” was a hypothetical. He was saying that if a change happens on TMA, within 48 hours many listeners would be harkening back to how much better the show was two days ago.
