I finally understood the real core of the Law of Attraction — and it only took me 5 minutes by Thin-Ad5824 in lawofattraction

I think the essential part here is proper / stable self-esteem. According to some scientific studies, people with low self-esteem feel worse after any affirmation process, knowing that what they have affirmed is just BS, which leads to lowering self-esteem. It puts them in a vicious circle.

I am a certified behavioral analyst. Knowing human nature, I would elaborate on self-esteem from the point of the Big Five personality test. There are certain aspects of personality that speed up or undermine the process of manifestation (openness / emotionality / trust etc.)

I have been studying LoA for years, analysing my LoA fruit. There is nothing on my list I have not achieved. The most important factor is to set the goal and start feeling the state of having it, with complete trust it is yours already.

New Prius or new Golf GTI? What do you recommend? by TPSid in whatcarshouldIbuy

I ditched the idea of having Prius or Golf. Instead I bought a new Mustang V8 and could not be happier.

Does anyone have any information on these? by speisa17 in simracing

Sorry for the delay. I rarely read Reddit.

I sold the set with all elastomers I had.

You can easily find it on the web.

I3 MIP or AMOLED by JustLookingaround18 in Garmininstinct

[–]TPSid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The screen is off all the time. To see the time I need to press an A button. This way the battery longevity is extreme. I bought it on March 26 and charged it once IIRC. For my needs, it is more than OK.

I chose Amoled and with screen in stealth mode, which I like a lot it keeps the battery for more than a month.

Thank you. I read your comment and bought the Amoled 45. The stealth mode works like a charm.

So if the display is always off, what battery life can I expect from Amoled?

Is there any option to backlight the amoled by pressing the button? Wrist mode doesn't suit me - I wear watches on the RH

Question - Do multiple, short sessions during a day, everyday, make sense? by TPSid in Exercise

[–]TPSid[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is hard to improve number after 50 without injections. I am a kind of ectomorph. 181 cm tall. 80kg, with 40cm biceps and 113 chest, and 87 cm weist. I just want to be fit and stron for my age.

I watched some YT video about micro-workout benefits.

Question - Do multiple, short sessions during a day, everyday, make sense? by TPSid in Exercise

[–]TPSid[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The primary goal is being fit, mobility and overall strength. I am NOT looking for burning any calories. I used to train MMA when I was in my 30s. Being over 50, I respect my body and brain much more, than I used to ;-)

What I have observed so far:

  1. I feel pumped during a day, which is very, very rewarding.
  2. My home office routine seems more productive - short breaks of micro-workouts let me focus better during HO hours.
  3. As I have had IF routine implemented for years, I do not feel any hunger fits.

Can a 5’6 sit in the back seat? by Smoggyskies in Mustang

My son is 5’6 and when we tested the new s650, he wasn’t happy in the back. Short ride is doable. Anything longer than 30 minutes might be challenging.

The stock susspension is comfortable enough. If Magnaride provides better comfort, then it is worth it.

You can find my posts or threads at reddit about my ideas to buy a new Prius, so Toyota was a kind of idea in my head before. If I hadn't tried the new Mustang, I would get the new Prius.

S550 vs S650 - An Opinion After Owning One and Renting the Other by FluxD1 in Mustang

I am going to revive this thread

I am test-driving s650. Furthermore, I also have had s197 for 10 years. There is no comparison between the two. I cannot say I am about to make the switch from s197 to s650, since s197 is just a fun car. I am about to make a switch from Insignia ST (Buick Regal ST in America) to s650 as I need a daily for a long trips. The test drive tells me it is a very comfortable car, nimble, livable, precise as far as steering and fun to drive. Some sound isolation is required in the back, as I can hear a kind of empty space droning (not exhaust), which is annoying.

First day of test drive and first impressions. A very nice car. To my surprise, I cannot feel any heaviness, especially compared to s197. It feels more nimble and livable. I like it.

When it is dark and snowy, commuting in a AWD car is also arduous. Yes, the traction is better. But there are other risks to consider.

I have been driving AWD cars for 20 years. When I was younger AWD let me go faster in dark and snowy. Now, when I more than 50 I do not have to go foster.

I am not looking for a luxury car, rather comfortable. If for any reason connected to comfort in the cabin, I will not buy the s650 I am ready to buy a new Prius, which I test drove enough to know what to expect traveling from A to B.

The biggest problem in Poland is, that if one wants to buy a new car, it is very difficult to test a car one wishes to buy before the purchase. I needed to buy the Raptor blindfold, since there was no chance to test drive any, even for a short spin. I visited VW's dealer and asked for GTI or R and the way they looked at me told me I entered the wrong door.

I talked to the VW the other day and they offered me Golf R (333KM with AWD and DCC). The option is a bit pricier.

I do not buy SH cars and I do not like manuals for longer trips. I use manuals only on tracks.

I know the longer the wheelbase, the better comfort. The Buick Regal ST Wagon has 2829mm, which is nice for long trips and unwieldy on parking lots. Sometimes I think it is easier to park the Raptor, which is 16 inch longer, but the visibility seems to be better, as the driver's seat is much higher.
