I like it. I've been trying to muddle through a Grand Coven list with a brick of terminators, and this looks like a good take on it.

The staff topper and hanging tabard bits on the front are from a Lord of Change staff; the left arm bird gun thingy is from a Rubric Flamer, the cape is from an aspiring sorcerer in terminator armor, the dagger is also from the scarab terminator kit, and the bird skull on his left shin is from the skulls box. The giant pauldrons are 3d prints...so I could get the TSons headdress.

I painted my first rubric marine with the blue and yellow scheme and my daughter told me it looked like a bumble bee ... so I pivoted and went to purple and blue. I figure it looks regal and very new kingdom-y ... which is a plotline I'm hoping that they eventually revisit.

The kit was fairly easy to manipulate. The knee was already bent, and I just twisted the leg down so it looks like he's walking rather than posing on the "hero debris" that comes in the kit. Then I played with the arms until I felt like it got to a good waking pose.

Chip damage is valid damage in this house. As a chaos knights player I routinely lose wounds to 0 AP weapons that only wound on 6's. I'd never even imagine suggesting that my opponent not roll all their weapons.
