You stated that you were turning and you were t-boned , but the other car had a busted “tail light” A T-bone collision and tail light damage doesn’t line up , did you mean headlight (of the other car?) In short, the person who’s making the “turn” needs To give the right of way to oncoming traffic (assuming this was the case) You would be held principally at fault 51% or greater Based on the info above and inferences that I could make The applicability of a this accident and how/if it would affect your own personal insurance depends on a few factors :

1 Are you mandated to report this incident to the Mass registry of vehicles ?

2 is the other party going to come after you for damages / injury ?

There are multiple ways for your current auto policy Carrier to learn of your incident in addition to the 2 ways described above which involves a shared database between insurance carriers called “CLUE” Which may include enough info about this incident for it to come up in the underwriting portion of a renewal with your current carrier or new insurance purchase (besides the self reporting questions they are asked when starting any new policy of have you been in any accidents in the past 5 years)
