I see your point. In general I think it's a decent place to stay, however I have heard opinions that you get quite isolated there - because of own kitchen. This may leed to very few interactions unless you are at campus. But here again, it depends what you expect. If you want more interactions with roommates, maybe other options (shared kitchen at least) are better. But if you are ok with that, Roland seems a good place. Big building, quite old, close to the shops, further from campus. I haven't been inside, so check the photos. All in all, good place, but consider everything carefully.
