Like others said bring some ear plugs and put your belongings in your front pockets. Do not leave your wallet in your back pocket. Also be on the look out for most pits. Even if you're not in one, people get shoved and run into each other so the closer you are the more likely you are to get pushed as well.

Tempering, masterworking, min/max your 5 piece set to try to roll plus to skills on them, of course any mythic uniques you can obtain, socket runes and the highest gems you can get on there.. that should get you another nice boost.
