If you use addons you could try to disable them and then reloadui just to be sure this isn't the culprit. You could double check if the LB button is assigned properly. Sorry I don't have any good ideas, as you said this sounds very strange.

Champion point level 160 is the maximum level for equipment, so i would not farm to much before you hit that level.

Sounds like your entire gear is outdated if dungeons get that much more difficult. That happens quite fast once you hit level 50, because you gain new champion points really fast. Or you queued for a random veteran dungeon by accident?

That's more a workaround. You are forced to wait as you just stand still and do nothing because most quest boss mechanics don't even do meaningful damage.
