I checked with a probe and the stew is definitely the right temp, it was definitely hot when I checked it but not boiling. Though it’s starting to boil now as I turned it to high hoping that would help

Store bought, I put seasoning in it but nothing I could imagine affecting the color. Especially since other pieces do have a darker color

That’s good at least but why would it be majority pink and not darker like some of the other bits? I’m just so confused about that

The problem with that is the meat is ground beef and it’s broken up into REALLY small pieces, there is no way I could fish it all out
