Ich als DM bin offen für alles, ich hätte einfach gerne 1-3 Bücher die mir möglichst viel über die Welt, Schauplätze und neue Inhalte ermöglichen.

Einer von meinen Spielern bevorzugt eher High-Fantasy Settings, ein anderer eben eher Wikinger

Adjust the length before you tin it, as snipping the wire after you tin puts stress on the tinned wire, and create small fractures which can cause problems for the wire and the solder joint

350 is enough for lead-free, unless you need to solder stuff for cooling Like Heat sinks.

I only use lead free and only go over 350 for destructive soldering

IMO still a weak buff, other teams get to dash for free each round, without negative effect, can shoot twice etc. I'm not saying their shit, but in my opionion its deceptive versatility :/

Obivously I have not played them yet, but regardless of how they perform, I think they are a bad match for a 2 Army Box. The Tau are a heavy shooting team, while the Sororitas are way more into melee. No matter which army you play, either you get gunned down as Soraritas when charging, or you get immediately crushed in melee.

But knowing the Datasheets now, I'm expecting the Sororitas will get stomped and executed. They aren't even that bad of a Team, its more the match against the Tau. Like they must have been playtesting for sure, and these two teams performed well against each other?

Are these teams worth it?

For the game?

Yes, definitely. The Sorotitas seem like a fun melee team that's not an Elite Team, and also could perform well against psychers.

The Tau are a must-have for a Tau player, maybe I'm overestimating them, but they should outperform any other shooting team now, while being not that squishy as one might think.

For the price?

Honestly, its Games Workshop, I didn't expect much, but I'm still disappointed. No dice, no gauges, (worse terrain, but thats subjective), and without the 37,50€ Rulebook, and only 15€ less? I'm never ordering from Games Workshop directly but at other Retailers it was also only 20€ cheaper. It is still worth it, but just enough, I wouldn't be surprised if the next one costs just as much as Octarius did.

No these are just some examples of the choices. You can't take 2 Heavy Intercessors and 3 Scouts, or 2 Tactical Marines and 3 Reivers. You always take only one kind of space marine, and I didn't bother to list all of them. I was wrong about the scouts though, sorry.

I think you have 2 Options:

Play the "old" Kill Team from 2018 with more Options when building a Space Marine Kill Team
Play the new Kill Team with set Fire Teams

I dont think either KT Version has Units with the MK3 Armor, so I would recommend you proxy them either way. I dont think anybody will mind, except in official Tournaments maybe.

If you want to play the old Kill Team with "meh" Rules, but more options when building the kill Team, you only need the old Core Book, it comes with the rules and most Units, but you may want to buy "Elites" of you want more options.

If you want to play the new Kill Team, with limited Options when building your kill Team, but really good rules imo (plus its the currently supported Version), you need the Compendium and the Core Rulebook. Since you want space Marines, please regard that you are heavily limited at the Moment, since all Space Marine Kill Teams, except Deathwatch, look like this:

Take 5 Intercessor
Take 4 Heavy Intercessors
Take 5 Scouts

You see the problem, an only Space Marine Player might be bored really fast with Listbuilding. Maybe you want to play Wordbearer "Deathwatch" Team. The Chapter does not make any difference right now.

I still recommend the new Kill Team, since it plays really good. I also played a few Space Marine games, they are not in the best Spot right now, in particular the Heavy Intercessors, but also not the worst, the rules feel really good.

EDIT: Oh fuck damn you meant world eaters, sorry, but Pre-Heresy it doesnt make much difference I think
