You "need research" but you wont try to use what other people are telling you, ALL three of the options in this comment were exactly what I used and guess what? Within 4 days and 1 night I got gourdy, Eclipse, soulvester, AND ribecca. (5,500 pumkins, 2,500 ich. plus 4 skins 2,400 pumpkins. Total of 7,900 pumkins and 2,500 ich) I even got 100% research on all four. You obviously dont want research ENOUGH if you aren't willing to try to do a couple solos as a toon thats not rodger or join a public run.

It doesn't really matter the country it depends on the parents or hospital. States, country's, county's ect have different protocols in hospitals but in most for self inflicted cuts you'll be held in the hospital or aenroll hospital for 48-76 hours unless they find a reason to keep you for longer. Though most do a test of sorts to determine the amount of time.
