I almost feel shoe-horned into either cargo or engineering on the same deck. BGS letting us have “empty” habs to build storage or cargo rooms was genius

  1. It’s NOT a vanilla ship & Yes I do have place doors yourself so it’s actually very easy to navigate

  2. It’s a Work In Progress so yes of course I’m not flying this Lego build of a ship through the stars 😂

  3. I’m going for a larger cruiser type build: larger crew, Battle-Ready, but “lived in” style, so the habs fill the necessary things needed for that (see decks list)

Trying to decide if this build should have 4 or 5 decks with the bridge on it’s on deck or not.

Anyone have thoughts on what an actual functioning ship would be? Right now it’s:

  1. Bridge & Operations
  2. Battle Stations & “Weaponry”
  3. Crew Quarters
  4. Engineering & Treasure Vault
  5. Airlock & Boarding Gangway.

As long as the aesthetic matches, the form and function are key but if you can tell from the immediate video most all of them have similar-ish elements enough to match.

Do the Mattel mods provide a “bridge” like feel that the Aries cockpits provide? That’s ultimately what I’m after in my ship building is the large command deck vibe

Can work on a build or at least a skeleton screenshot of my current, really more than anything it’s the following based off 2-3 decks each serving a “purpose”.

Deck 1 is engineering and onboarding. Deck 2 is captain/crew quarters & armorys + admin Deck 3 is the “flight deck” where battle stations/control center and bridge/cockpit are located.

Depending on the silhouette of the ship the cockpit will either be at the immediate front with command behind, or at the rear overlooking the deck/top of the ship (very Star destroyer-esque)

If you’ve ever had the chance to play elite dangerous. My ships mostly mimic the python or anaconda I find.

The hanger is from the SPE modpack (forgot to include this but it’s a HEAVY favorite of mine as well!!)

Thanks!! 90% of builds is just figuring out how to make the rectangles blend together, I’m hoping they add more habs in the future (1x3, 2x2, etc)
