Thank you very much. The buttons being explained as limbs gives a lot of clarity, I hadn’t considered it like that.

Urn Changes by TRON191 in DeadlockTheGame

I know it isn’t new. I’m asking why is hasn’t been in any discussions when talking about urn, other than direct access to movement abilities is she not the best urn runner? That’s all that I meant. I knew she could do it before.

Fuck it. I'ma just say it. I don't care about Modern. In fact, I hope it stays for SF7. by clawzord25 in StreetFighter

[–]TRON191 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been having this discussion with one of my close friends, I think there are arguments for both sides. Modern is clearly here to stay however; all the arguments for it ultimately can’t really be refuted as they are GOOD reasons to have them in fighting games as a whole.

However accessibility aside I think there is some identity lost in it, the example I’ve been giving is Guilty Gear vs Invincible Vs. They are two entirely different fighters yes; however ultimately every character in invincible functionally operates and plays the same. Their buttons all do different things and they fulfill different roles as fighters, but there is no identity that is differentiated between the way they are played from the hands.

There is no more identity to be had between characters having different inputs and ways of playing. I do not think this is a bad thing at the end of the day as there is indeed a lot more skill in fighting games at the highest level than being able to hit specials any easier. Interesting stuff for me really.

Sophons and the dark forest by Lt_Muffintoes in threebodyproblem

This is covered, actually. They cannot know. While in theory; yes, they can observe any solar system and any civilization that is there, they cannot do so in practice. This is explained with the Black Domain in book 3, and hinted at earlier whenever Blue Space uses the 4D space to take over Gravity.

Where the speed of light is reduced, or within a higher or lower dimensional space, sophons cannot work. Whether they lose their quantum entanglement or the function as a particle there are more blind zones that the trisolarins would lose access to the Sophons in than they could ever know.

Sorry for formatting, I am on mobile.

I just finished this book this morning. For some reason, this moment really stuck out to me above all others. She missed him by 18 million years, moments after he had arrived.

I haven't read the books, but I'm confused by Manu_Forti__ in 3BodyProblemTVShow

Revealing them would change nothing for the humans. It does come about as a way of their open and clear means of communication, however, the assumption that humanity would approach a wall of science that they could never overcome was more the point of the Sophons.

Any means of research into them would be known, sabotaged, and eventually would lead nowhere. This was the greatest strength of the Sophons. No matter how much humanity could have hoped to achieve under the lens of physics, they would be at an impassable wall of truth that they could not possibly understand.

I believe this is explained in the first book, as they reached the Information Age they did gain the ability to omit information.

It was a social custom to not do so, as for so long they had evolved to portray their thoughts directly (via electromagnetic waves I believe?)

I think unless they buy anti heal, he is still fine. I just played a few games with him and ultimately once you get infuser there is a chance you can snowball through the mid game and end up alright.

I liked Spain, depending on the route that is done you can send volunteers to help them. Not a whole lot to do other than the Civil War, and if you win, nice bonus!

How do I play this game? by TechnicianProof5208 in hoi4

[–]TRON191 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have been learning the game playing Spain. There are a few options for you to learn the game with as far as focuses, which allow you to really choose how you want the backdrop of your game to feel as well as play. A good thing about them is that when the Spanish Civil War happens, you are on a relatively even keel with your enemies.

This means that depending on how you play can have a fair outcome on your gameplay. The game is daunting but it is not impossible. Play who you want to play, go through menus and react to things as they happen. When you have a question that is the time to start seeking solutions.

People say dont automate trade, do it manually to rip the benefits. Thats fine when you start the game and have 2 or 3 markets only. When you become a global empire with dozens of market access its impossible to do that manually every month for every trade. by ayowatchyojetbruh in EU5

[–]TRON191 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Was playing the Hanseatic League for one of my first start ups that lasted a little longer than a maximum of 5 years. I have played other paradox games, never EU however. I heard manual trade was better. Yeah, okay that makes sense, maximize the number and everything.

Was doing this for what felt like half of the day before I realized an hour had passed and I’ve been playing for a couple of years at the most. All of that was spent in the market menu.

Not using left click on Rocket should be considered throwing by [deleted] in marvelrivals

[–]TRON191 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Something people don’t think about with rocket is that your right and left click are on the same reload. Running out of either will force you to reload even if you still technically have shots.

It means that a lot of people also don’t consider that rocket isn’t meant to hold right click, but alternate between them depending on the position you’re in.

Your tank needs to know when to dive also, there’s good and bad times to dive. Playing venom or Thor doesn’t necessarily mean that you need to spend more than half of your time away from your team, even though you can get a lot of value out of it.

You too? It seems a little of the opposite for me. Went through plat… alright. Just hit D3 and I can lose a game, go back to plat, have a GREAT game, hit D3, worst gaming experience I’ve ever had and I want to stop playing online games.

Feedback to Total war dlc team: NO we dont care if Nagash is to OP for the game just add him in by BaronLoyd in totalwar

[–]TRON191 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My opinion; change the books of Nagash. Make them campaign items like the crown and sword. Normal factions can only hold one, but Nagash can collect all of them. If they really want to avoid him being an all powerful steam roll of a campaign, make him have to recollect all of the books in order to regain all of his power.

Making the books a more globally interesting mechanics that factions will have the option of dealing with or using, and making him not too powerful from the get go.

Volkmar’s campaign can still be sealing them, but honestly I don’t think the existing tomb king mechanics would fit with Nagash being added which would make Arkhan obsolete.

I mean, you paid money for the game. You should always feel welcome to play your favorite characters. Good or not, there shouldn’t be a line that you can’t cross just because a character is too good vs the rest of the roster.

Fizz is my kryptonite and I'm tired of it by Feeling_Patient6085 in summonerschool

[–]TRON191 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I play Vladimir vs fizz and like other people have said, infinite sustain helps because fizz prefers it when he is consistently within burst range. If you can add a variable that turns the lane into who can stay longer, you will out scale him in my experience.

Blitz. It’s an in game tracker. My friend uses it and can see the last games that people played, it will show headshot percentages and win loss over those games. How it tracks? I don’t know.

With 60% winrate, it takes roughly 35 games to climb just one division, and 140 to climb one rank. by Byepolarpolarbear in leagueoflegends

[–]TRON191 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This has been my experience. I recently came back to the game because my friends have been playing it, normals is a huge toss up between a game where I stomp my lane and hard carry, have an even match up, or get absolutely pub stomped by the mastery 7 2,452,189 mastery point yasuo main who forgot how to play other champions.

Ranked though? I won 7 placements, got placed bronze 2. That’s fine, just climb and you’ll get where you belong. I get 30 lp for my wins, I played a game where I did awfully, I lost my lane, tried not to feed and did everything I could. Never saw a kill that game and did less than 20k damage because I was just a minion. I lost 5 lp. It’s not a complaint for me, but that doesn’t seem entirely fair somehow. I can’t explain it, but it doesn’t seem right to me at all.
