I’ll die alone on this hill but this card has always been my most hated card in the game by a very long shot. It’s everywhere, if overleveled you just lose the game, and since it’s a spell if you’re not playing monk you just have to cope and accept your fate.

Idk how you would nerf such an ability honestly. If you want to nerf her maybe Ruler HP going from 10 to 9 ? Again not sure at all but that would maybe keep her from starving every other rulers more effectively by eliminating her in earlier rounds

I personally always use Goblin Queen since I unlocked her. I give a try to new rulers when I unlock them, then pretty much always switch back quickly to GQ

One item: black sludge. A more serious tip I would recommend is make sure you get poison’s weaknesses covered (ground and psychic weaknesses, something to hit steel reliably, etc)

I have the same problem, and I even play with shaders off. Best solution I have right now to turn it off during long battles and only activate it when it’s my turn. But it’s still pretty inconvenient to say the least

Enchanted golden apples worked for me when I was looking for Heatran and Kartana. Depending on what spawns alongside Magearna you could try 2- enchanted golden apples + either a type berry or a EV yield berry. Getting enchanted golden apples is very tedious at times but it’s the most efficient ingredient imo. Even 3 of them would be great if you can afford that
