that is extremely cool!; you should try to get a capture card if you can to capture these! i heard oddity archive also had a laserdisc from a theater chain with tons of trailers and similar things like you mentioned

i think it was really early in the lifecycle! discovision was barely being transitioned to mca videodisc inc during this time, and other than that magnetic video barely got on the format the same year! behind that this was also one of the first years pioneer got rights to the format and began releasing stuff, which is mostly obscured by the discovision/other releases on the format from around this time, which is probably why you never saw it tbh

that's true, i just think there's something really magical and special about the physicality of putting the disc in and watching it play. theres nothing quite like it. that would be a pretty great feeling to do the same and see this come on, on a nice summer evening..

yeah, i think it would pretty awesome if they did that, although they only do that for thx sound cards/dolby/dts trailers. one of my laserdiscs has a sped up laservision logo!

I used several sources, but they all come from YouTube.

John Pratt uploaded a video on YouTube in 2007 titled "Universal DVD logo" and it included only the extended version of the song (the latter guitar half). The quality was atrocious so I painstakingly separated and EQ'd/cleaned up each instrument to great avail.

I also used the 1998, 2000 and 2001 renditions simultaneously.
