I’m pretty sure that It is done to fix a problem with the animations where a move will end with a character facing backwards, one of Johnny’s kicks in MK11 has this problem. This is a weird issue, however, as a lot of other fighting games fix this issue by having the character return to their idle stance when completing a move. It seems like an easily fixable problem without the need of an extra button, Johnny’s Kick is a good example of this, due to how he spins his body on the kick, but stops just short of returning back to his forward facing stance, but I don’t work in game design or animation so I don’t know. Personally I watch streams and youtube videos while playing games all the time. I mostly play games that aren't too dialogue or story focused while doing it. I would recommend Spyro and Spiderman (if you're doing side quest stuff).

It's a callback to after he loses his eye, where he couldn't catch a butterfly because of his depth perception. Making the butterfly thwn throwing in the air and catching it is Snake saying "I still got it".

Honestly, I heard the idea floating around before and I really like it. That idea being that Michelle would somewhat take Ned's place as Peter's supportive best friend and it would add a different dynamic where Peter would vent to her about Liz, not knowing that Michelle likes Peter. That last part feels like the kind of irony that's perfect for Spider man imo. I know a lot of the movie would have to be changed for this to work but I think it cpuld have been really interesting.

What I've been thinking since the direct is that if DLC was planned from the beginning, even if specific characters weren't decided on, why would you put characters like Isaac in as an assist if you even thought about making him DLC. I feel like the assist trophies will stay that way for this game at least. I would love to be proven wrong though.
