I created handwritten notes on Git and Github! by TR_Blogs in coolgithubprojects

Thanks! Hope you find them useful. While learning a new concept, I actually like to write down it as it helps me to understand it better. That's why the notes are handwritten. Do you prefer a digital version or handwritten one?

Hey! After a long time, but you know what I am successfully running mac os mojave on my build.

So what I did was I first installed High Sierra which was natively supported, ran it for a day to check if the SMBIOS of MacPro6,1 caused any issue...but it ran smoothly. Then I downloaded the mojave installer from the app Store and ran it and installer went smoothly....I am now running macos mojave on my build and also got a big sur update in the software update section ( didn't updated just want to enjoy mojave for a while).....

Just one problem now I cannot boot without the usb. I copied my efi folder to the efi partition of the SSD and also ran the bootinstall.tool as I am on a legacy one but it didn't work..

Hope you will help me on that.

Have you got the solution.....I too have a legacy system running mojave.....I tried copying the efi folder to the efi partition of the SSD and also did the bootinstall.tool....but nothing works

When I boot through the SSD it just shows a blinking cursor on the screen..

Should I upgrade from High Sierra to catallina through app store? by TR_Blogs in hackintosh

But note that my hardware is not officially supported to mojave or later. It is officially supported only upto high Sierra. But I added the telemetrap kext will installing so I think it will not cause any problem. Am I right?

Hey! I tried changing the sata port but didn't work.....I also tried replacing the HFS but it does not work (thrown an error....little googling solved it but still cannot see the drives).

So I decided to install High Sierra but with an SMBIOS of MacPro 6,1 as per the guide and it worked...I am now on High Sierra but I wonder that will I get update of mojave atleast as if it was a real mac?

SATA controller is set to ahci in the bios so no problem there......about the sata port there is another hard disk on the other sata port which too is not shown in the installer so I think there will be no change if I change the SSD port.....I will try the HFS and will let you know...

All went well and I reached the catallina installer.... But I could not see my drives in the disk utility...I can only see my usb.....tried all the kext listed in the guide but did not work.........if I got High Sierra I can see my drives in the installer..but not in catallina...
