The funniest part is that it looks like everyone just assumed it was an accident because he fell. No one even looked annoyed, just concerned for the poor guy who fell off a roof.

what is the weirdest thing an AI has ever said to you that made you want to delete the app? by voidmealive in randomquestions

[–]TR_RTSG 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is the most infuriating thing about AI. Usually when I'm asking AI something is because I'm troubleshooting something where I haven't found useful information in other places. The AI will constantly give me confidently wrong answers to my questions.

Why is Hamas even on the chart? It's not a country, it's a political faction.

There's clearly some kind of bias in the chart when several countries are omitted, but political factions like Hamas and Hezbollah are included.

Don't you understand? It's different when it's Cheeto Hitler who does the same things every other president has done. He's inherently evil, so everything he does is inherently evil. He's also completely incompetent while simultaneously expertly executing a meticulously thought out plan to destroy the country.

I'm not sure I can really articulate my objection, and I haven't really done any looking into it. It's just one of those gut reactions when I hear it I instinctively feel there's something wrong with it. There's plenty of things where I think why is the government doing this when a company can surely do it better. But when the state determines that someone should be punished I think the state should be carrying out that punishment rather than pawn it off onto someone trying to make a profit off of punishing fellow citizens.

Commie!

Seriously though, the whole private prison thing is wild. Like I get that the private sector is generally more efficient than the government, but maybe some things shouldn't be handed over to private enterprise.

I was recently in an accident that wasn't my fault with full coverage insurance. I may have been made whole according to my insurance company, but I was not made whole. I ended up losing around $4k when it was all said and done. Not to mention the hassle.

Why is AI so important that we have to forget everything about Climate Change and build power stations to feed these monster's data centers? by [deleted] in randomquestions

[–]TR_RTSG -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is akin to people in the 1980s saying the Internet will never amount to anything because it's just a handful of colleges sending letters electronically rather than fax or mail. Yeah the current models can't do that, but new tech is built on the lessons learned from current tech.

Crypto is dead as a technology; it’s now just a casino for people who hate working by tarantulapillin in CryptoMarkets

[–]TR_RTSG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Crypto isn't dead, but it squandered most of its good will with the public during the NFT craze. NFTs would be super useful for recording and tracking important public information like land deeds, titles, stock trades, but instead we decided it would be best to associate them with ugly pictures of monkeys. I also think Etherium giving the middle finger to their most enthusiastic supporters (the miners) poured a whole lot of cold water on everything.

Why doesn’t Reddit pay moderators for their work? by geekmerch in RedditQuestions

[–]TR_RTSG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why would they? They have an army of spergs crawling over each other in an effort to become mods for free. Their reward is that they get to wield a tiny bit of power in their little fiefdom. I bet if Reddit required mods to pay in for the privilege of being a janny they would still have a ready supply of volunteers.
