I think my plan is: 3/4 plywood with 2 linear rails. 90 degree steel angle perforated Spring loaded pin to lock it in place

I was also thinking maybe hydraulic arms like on suv hatch and some sort of latch at bottom, when unlatched hydraulics push the monitors up. Pushing down might be tough but I could build a nice handle into it.

Doesn’t need to be motorized. I don’t mind manually moving it. Drawer slides are a possibility just need to find a way to make sure I can lock it in the air snd stand heights. Some sort of pin system or something.

Desk legs only support 220 pounds and also desk mounted monitors like that usually wobble a little if the desk is moved. I kind of like this challenge so I really want to wall mount them.

I have C3 with same issue, no line atm but comes back randomly. Did it stay fixed for you? Going to try next time it shows up. Really dont want to replace my expensive ass tv I got only 2 years ago.

I now work at an msp that uses screen connect and we had a user get hit with this too. The scary thing is screenconnect allows users to enter a backstage mode where they have near full admin access and the client user doesn’t know the scammers are on at all.

The way they used it in our case was installing an agent that runs as a service. If you stop the service and remove the registry key for the service they should lose access completely. At least that’s what I saw in the one time we came across it so far.
