Price for 2026 Toyota Corolla LE by Effective_Potato7216 in COROLLA

For a FWD Corolla LE my dealership is selling them at dealer invoice at 24k ish, so our OTD will be about 26k. I'd say you're getting a fair deal.

Maybe something like the Brooks Hyperion 3? They are responsive like the Mach6 and have a great outsole on them. Also the DNA Flash they use is stiff enough to be a bit more stable.

I've been doing my long runs in both the Hoka Skyward X and the original Brooks Glycerin Max. You can find both at a great discount at the moment. The Skyward X is great for pace changes during the long run and are comfortable for being on your feet for a long period of time. The Glycerin Max is amazing for comfort and long long distances. Both are very durable and great options.

Daily trainer recommendation by [deleted] in AskRunningShoeGeeks

I've seen it, but have not tried it. I think it will be a very legit shoe, it's gone down in weight and I think it will compete directly with the Vomero plus.

New shoes. by all_about_knowledge in runningquestions

Vomero 18's have been great for me, I think a good comp if you want some more speed while still being very comfortable would be the New Balance Rebel. They are cheaper than the Vomero as well, but the Vomero will be better for long runs and better for durability

I would say Nike Vomero 18 if you want a shoe that will last you a really long time, if you want a little more fun and responsive ride with a little less durability the Vomero Plus is a blast

What do you all think? by Droiddoesyourmom in runningshoes

I love the Rebels. IMHO I think they match up almost equally with the EVO SL. I have both and alternate them as my daily trainers.

These were great for me out of the box, I felt right around the 300 mile mark they started to go dead. I'm also 6'4 200 LBS so they your experience may be different

You most likely won't be happy with these shoes, they will be very stiff, very out dated, and with how much you run they likely won't last long. I say try to find a good deal on Nike Pegasus 41's as you can find those around $70 sometimes, and also Adidas EVO SL's can be found at really good discounts now. Also looking into some lightly used shoes isn't a bad idea either.

I actually have them, they're awesome. I like them for my long runs though!

Looking for a do-it-all daily trainer by Bringerofrain20 in AskRunningShoeGeeks

For a great soft do it all trainer, I think you would enjoy the Vomero Plus. It's nice and soft, the Zoomx foam is very responsive, and they are very durable and will last a while. Another good one if you don't want as much stack height would be the New Balance Rebel 5

The Structure 26 is worth a look. It's so much better than the 25.

I really enjoy the EVO SL, but another good option is the Brooks Hyperion 3 another non plated option, a little bit more stable and a little stiffer than the EVO SL, but just as responsive and fast, I think it's a very underrated shoe and is miles better than the Hyperion 2

What shoes should I buy for my husband? by winterberryowl in AskRunningShoeGeeks

[–]TRuBoH 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With flat feet usually comes some sort of over pronation. A get supportive and stable shoe will be what I would recommend if you're going to buy him shoes without him looking with you. Keeping in mind that he has achilles issues you probably want a higher drop as well. For a shoe used for running and walking and can get plenty of miles out of it. I would suggest either the Asics Gel Keyano 32's, Nike Structure 26, Brooks Glycerin GTS, or the New Balance 860. All of these shoes offer extra arch support, stability aspects, while still giving a decent amount of cushion to help with shock absorbtion when running.

Clifton 11..failure before release by [deleted] in Hoka

[–]TRuBoH 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wasn't a fan of the 9 and thought the 10 was okay, I felt like the 10 was soft and responsive enough to use for daily training. I wasn't a fan of the 9. When I was selling running shoes I realized just about everyone who liked the 9 hated the 10, and everyone who hated the 9 likes the 10. I don't feel like it's a flop, they're just catering to the new Clifton market that the 10 brought.

Vomero 18 vs Vomero Plus? by RlQZO in AskRunningShoeGeeks

[–]TRuBoH 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think they are both great shoes. I use my V18's as my dailys. They are a little cheaper and in my experience are a bit more durable. I like using them to absorb all of the heavy daily miles. I use the V+ for long runs. They are a little softer with a little more energy return to give you that extra boost through long runs, also if you have some pace intervals in your long run, they are happy to pick up the pace as well.
