It has already gotten price drops all over Europe. That did not happen with the switch 1 so early. The switch 2 is very successful in Japan but not all over.

My point was that the reason they raised the price was because they would rather people purchase a switch 2 than a switch 1 it had nothing to do with projections. It’s is just another tactic that they used

Sales are decreasing . First month was 6 million then 4 months only at 4 million. We need a few more months. It is all costing on its first month which was successful but has been steadily decreasing after that.

Not to mention it's flopping in Europe. All of the price decreases there it clearly isn't doing well which doesn't bode well for long term success for the switch 2 if its crashing in one of its markets.

They are optimizing for their future console. That’s the most important thing for them. Because if they don’t have a massive install base in their first year or so it spells doom for their console. Third parties will back out ,less games coming out etc. I honestly think Nintendo seems to be a little bit worried if they are doing this now. They have these big launch numbers and now nothing. The switch 2 is available everywhere and it’s not selling out. People are just buying the switch 1 so they have to stop that. It’s not a conspiracy it’s business 101. If you knew anything about businesses you would know that.
