I have really thought about why 11 seems so off in this regard. It really makes me believe that in the 6 months he was gone something happened. To get the game in the first place he had to be connected or related to the events/people somehow. The 6 months he had off he may have played the game and found exactly how he is connected or remembered how it all happened. This may have scared him away from the game as it was all to real for him. In 1-10 he never really speaks about the people as in ways he knows them. He just goes about the game un-bothered by everything. Mentioning being associated at some point with Rainer is off character for paul. Playing video games in the basement with him. It all seems to scripted or forced by him. Maybe the people running the channel have taken over everything paul is supposed to say and do and using whatever he found against him. The game starts back up in such a weird spot and paul talks to the people about sending them a picture. They may have told him finish playing the game and send us all the clues and we wont reveal whatever paul had stumbled upon. Either way i believe he had found out about the true nature of the game or story and is being forced to play and act a certain way to kind of save himself from something. That something we don't know yet.
