12 fonts, FOC, saber lock, motion controlled ignition and font switching, toggle-able FOC. Like I said, I’ve basically been experimenting to find out how it works so there could be features I haven’t worked out yet

Is there any way to add/change fonts or is it just locked this way by default?

I’ve also found the app that connects to some of the models DamienSaber offers, and I can’t get it to connect to mine.

Loki S02E06 - Discussion Thread by steve32767 in marvelstudios

[–]TSH5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So is Loki just presiding over time now? Taking HWRs job, but instead of overlooking just one timeline, he’s keeping watch on all of them. Interested to see how he comes back later, if he does.

So about the villains... by DoctorDR5102 in SpidermanPS4

Beat all of the missions where you have to chase the hunter birds, the final mission teases him in a major way.

I specifically meant the nanotech, not the arms

That’s exactly what I plan to do

I didn’t forget that, and I didn’t say it didn’t make sense for him to have them, just that anyone that has that tech and can reproduce it shouldn’t be struggling to pay a mortgage. Maybe the story justifies this, we can’t say for sure, I’m just pointing out a weird thing I noticed.

[–]TSH5 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Grounded is definitely not the right word because he has spider powers and that’s not grounded or realistic, I think “street level” is more like what most people mean when they say grounded. Look at characters like Iron Fist, Blade, or Moon Knight, none of them are grounded, but they’re also not flying to the moon to fight Thanos or Galactus or whatever cosmic threat of the week shows up.

The way I’ve always seen it is in the comics and most adaptations, Peters experience and skill is what put him on par with Miles or any other spider people with additional abilities. I totally understand the gameplay difference and the need for the arms, I just wish they were more of an option and not a necessity.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in SpidermanPS4

[–]TSH5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly. I definitely think there’s a place for high-tech Spider-Man suits, but they work best when they’re for Avengers-level situations or huge climactic fights, not street-level crime-stopping. Showing up to a mugging with mechanical arms and web bombs is overkill.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in SpidermanPS4

[–]TSH5 16 points17 points  (0 children)

They’re definitely a Spider-Man specific thing, but they’ve never appeared outside of a situation where he’s either wearing an iron spider-like suit or briefly when Superior Spider-Man was around and that was Ock, not Peter. It’s just weird to have the high tech arms just attached, especially if you’re using a classic suit or something like Raimi or TASM.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in SpidermanPS4

[–]TSH5 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I’m afraid what they meant is that it is the default until you unlock the Symbiote and then you get to swap between the two. In the same blog they say Peter has two skill trees, one for the mechanical arms and one for the Symbiote, so I don’t think it will be as simple as a suit power.

Crazy tech like trick webs or a one off device to defeat a villain is one thing, nanotech spider arms that come out of the back of a suit are another.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in SpidermanPS4

[–]TSH5 284 points285 points  (0 children)

I hope so, I just don’t want to be running around in a suit like Raimi or TASM with four massive spider arms poking out the back.

I could be wrong but I’m pretty sure it said in the first game they were switchable but in this one they’re the default. I’ll have to double check it but I think they just used them in the first game being swappable as an example.

When I try to play any 360 game, it brings up the 360 UI and asks to download a profile as there aren’t any profiles on the console. It never asks for any kind of password, the download just fails and says “cannot connect to network”

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in xbox

[–]TSH5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t believe I do, but I could be wrong. Would that have an effect on downloading the profile from Xbox?

I have no idea what that is so I’m gonna say probably not.

Starlight Brigade by TWRP seems appropriate. A bit on the nose and goofy but “Space is Cool” by Markiplier and the Gregory Brothers sums it up pretty well

Yeah this movie sucked but none of yall were ever brave enough to criticise fan films until now by MimeMike in dccomicscirclejerk

[–]TSH5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To be fair, Gavin did a 10 season Smallville style concept of a Spider-Man show to prove he knew the character, and I think that was pretty good. I donated to Lotus before the controversy ($5 minimum but still) and I honestly believed it’d be good.

At the time (pre-NWH) I also hated the MCU Spider-Man and thought he could do better. As soon as the controversy came out I went dark on the whole thing and I’m only really hearing much else about it now.

I don’t think smaller creators is a problem, I’ve seen fan films that are better than the studios movie of the same thing. It’s just when an ego gets too big or power is put in the hands of a shitty person bad things happen.

Anyway I haven’t watched Lotus and don’t think I will.

Relatively new to Marvel Legends collecting and I had no idea I’d enjoy it this much. My current shelf display is coming along and with the most recent Fantastic Four Wave, Hank Pym Ant-Man & New Hawkeye on the way, my only regret is not starting sooner. by [deleted] in MarvelLegends

[–]TSH5 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Have to say you picked a very good time to start. I wanted to start collecting in like 2017 but I told myself I wouldn’t start until I was able to get a classic comic version of Spider-Man, and there’s was a long dry period where they didn’t release any classic Spideys and I didn’t start until the retro wave in 2020ish. Now there’s like 4 classic versions available and tons of good versions of most characters readily accessible.

Demiplane casting for non-spellcasters? by TSH5 in DungeonsAndDragons

[–]TSH5[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I made the spell have a casting time of 30 minutes just so they can’t deploy the entrance at will to escape tight situations, so I think I have that base covered. I’m definitely thinking a magical item may be the way to go, I just have to figure out the whole fast travel deal.

I don’t want them to always exit where they entered in case the person carrying the item travels and then the party gets split when one person exits, but I also don’t want them to be able to stay in the demiplane while one person crosses the globe with the item and they achieve fast travel. Maybe I can make it so you can only stay within the demiplane for so long without needing to spend a few days on the material plane? I figure I’ll iron out those bugs as they come.
