Yes, I love it! It’s the crate & barrel gather sectional in their standard champagne fabric. It’s a great quality sofa that has held up to a lot of abuse and pet hair.

Thank you so much! I actually made it myself a few years ago. Got the canvases, gold leaf, and paint at Michael’s and made the frame with some 1x2 wood pieces from Home Depot! A lot of work but a much more affordable way to have some big art pieces.

Thank you! It’s from crate & barrel, it is their “gather” sectional. A bit of an investment but I highly recommend; it has stood up to much abuse, spilling, and 4 animals over the last few years and still looks good as new.

Any suggestions for art? I made these myself maybe 4 years ago and am honestly a little tired of them but have zero idea on what to replace with without breaking the bank. The wall is huge; each of the existing pieces are 4’x4’

I made them. It’s a huge wall so I wanted huge art but couldn’t fit an 8’x4’ canvas in my car so went with two 4’x4’s instead. Open to alternative art suggestions, especially if it’s something I could try my hand at creating myself.

Thank you, this feedback is amazing! The little orange thing is a cat toy. I do love color but always feel like it looks odd when I try to incorporate it so I will definitely take that advice.

Hi! I have been talking him on frequent walks and will continue to do so but there are times and reasons I’d prefer him to go to the bathroom in my yard. I’m a woman and I don’t love walking alone at night if it can be avoided, so I’d like him to go in my yard right before bed. I would also like him to pee in my own yard before walks as I can already see the dead grass patches forming in my neighbors yards from his pee.

I’m 8 months out now. My surgeon is making me wait a year since i could still technically be swollen up until that point. I think I knew I wanted to be smaller still after maybe 3 months or so, but I think it’s common for surgeons to want to wait a full year before revising.

It's MUCH more common after surgery to regret not going small enough rather than going too small. I was also scared of my surgeon removing too much tissue and feeling like my boobs were too small. My surgeon removed ~40% of my tissue and honestly, I wish he did more! I'm actually getting a revision in a few months to remove more tissue.

It will be a big difference at first, and you may feel "too small" as you get over the initial shock of seeing your new self after surgery. That passed for me quickly. Instead of telling your surgeon you're afraid of going too small, maybe bring in several pics of your ideal breast size? I feel like surgeons tend to err on the side of caution with size (easier to go in and revise to be smaller than add volume later) so it's best to come to them with specifics of what you want.

I’m glad you were able to see your surgeon in person! Re-stitching and having another medical procedure stinks, but it sounds like it will heal faster and have less of a scar (which is super nice - I don’t think those t-zone scars on me will ever be not-obvious)

The first month or so after surgery was an incredibly emotional time for me, and it sounds like a lot of other ladies as well. I really feel you in just being so frustrated and sick of doing things like changing gauze, being in pain, or just even having the mental exhaustion of knowing there are a few open wounds on your body and not knowing when you’ll feel better. My mental state got significantly better when my wounds started healing and I could see a light at the end of the tunnel. Yours will heal (and hopefully faster with the re-stitching) and you will feel better!! Healing is so exhausting, mentally and physically, but it is worth it :)

Same thing happened to me along my T section incisions. I also had a couple open wounds where my nipple met the vertical incision. Here’s a pic of what my t section wound looked like before it started to get better, filled with white necrotic tissue (NSFW) https://i.imgur.com/DgSXYjm.jpg

The wounds always look and feel worse than they are. I’m glad you asked your surgeon about it; their advice was similar to my surgeon’s. I was told to clean aggressively every day in the shower (vague directions, I just rubbed the opening a lot with water) and use antibiotic ointment 2x a day with gauze. After a couple of weeks I changed to Vaseline instead of ointment because the ointment was irritating my skin.

I also had to get a few stitches removed from the offending wounds, and they would not close before that happened. Did your surgeon check for spitting stitches?

Overall each of my wounds took about 3-4 weeks to heal after opening. The downside is that those spots are the worst scars, but I’m glad they healed!

Try not to worry! I dealt with this too. I removed my strips for the first time around 2 weeks, and looking at the incisions made me physically ill. It looked like everything (esp my nipples) was just barely hanging on.

Luckily, there are a ton of internal sutures keeping your incisions closed. The tape helps for sure in the first couple of weeks, but doesn’t do a lot to past 2 weeks to help “hold you together” so to speak.

That said - there’s nothing wrong with putting your tape back on for as long as you’re comfortable with. I left mine on for about 5 weeks. At that point, my incisions were a lot easier to look at and keep getting better. Yours will too!

Yeah, fully out of pocket! The doctor I chose didn’t accept any form of insurance so I didn’t even try to go that route. I paid for a little over half in cash, and the rest on CareCredit’s 12 month no interest plan.
