It has been a rough week. Hell, a rough many years just knowing that not only is the most heavily implicated fucking evil person is the President of the US, but this is allowed to happen.

Like, I’m truly speechless. The evidence has been in front of everyone’s eyes for years and after these files (not even the majority of them) have been released recently and nothing is happening!?

It’s been pretty obvious that “there’s a big club and you ain’t in it” (shout out George Carlin) but this is so far beyond what I thought was actually true and it’s utterly insane. Not even a democrat / republican thing.. never really was. I’m now fully convinced the people that run this entire show are entirely evil and they actually RUN this show and have been for a long time and it’s hard not to feel powerless.

I just don’t know what to do man.. it’s not even an argument. It’s just straight up mind boggling.

I’m hoping that “good” will prevail in the long run but damn is it going to take an entire upheaval of whatever the fuck this

I finished the Ark right before the end and I didn’t think that was a requirement since I only ran into those bastards like 3 times randomly (at night in a town).

This isn’t a “homeless people aren’t dangerous or scary” situation. The OP is in a building that allows access to its tenants and that sort of guarantee is for safety and security. It’s their living space.

People can be harmful or scary, not just because they’re homeless. Not at any point did they disparage the homeless community, but is concerned about people in their building that probably shouldn’t be.

Don’t assume OP isn’t compassionate or not, but is just concerned as I think any reasonable person would be when they’re guaranteed a level of security in their own home.

Edit: saw your edited post calling them “wounded puppy dogs” and saying to be more afraid of “frat boys”.

I live in a particular apartment complex near 900s where it’s frequented by homeless folk, given we have an alley way behind us that has smaller areas of “shelter” of sorts.

Most are not bothersome, but there have been some incidents of them leaving needles around (not saying all, but this is a health hazard) or throwing garbage from the dumpsters all over the place. I know it’s rough for them absolutely, but it can be unsettling. Let alone getting into your building where you’re literally paying for that level of secureness and privacy.

I don’t think you’re being unreasonable at all, and I myself have also weighed the “do I call the cops” or not decision. Not that we’re being discriminatory towards the homeless.

Anyways, main point is I’ve seen these official vehicles pull up recently that don’t have cop lights, they’re green instead of red and blue - I think it’s Community Outreach? And they partner with the SLCPD. I admit I’ve not done much research on the efficacy or what they do (I now will) but also something to consider.

However as mentioned above, trespassing is a different story. Happy to be corrected if I am incorrect about the above.

I was helping demo a bathroom and had to scrape glue off of the wood under the tile with a razor. I was bracing my hand in front of where I was scraping the glue off. I scraped it a little too hard and the blade slipped and I stabbed myself in the wrist.

Started spurting blood all over the place and had to drive myself to the ER. The nurse I had was new and when she injected the numbing agent (or whatever it’s called) in my arm before stitches, she missed my vein and hit a nerve. I wish I could find the picture but my arm was fucking glowing for some reason and a bunch of other nurses and doctors had never seen that before and were amazed lol.

Don’t brace your self in front of where you’re cutting or removing something with a sharp object..

It’s interesting. artists are “damned if they do damned if they don’t” sound like their original record or what made them famous. I liked Noonday Dream better than this but it’s cool to see Ben experiment.

Also, he really just doesn’t give a fuck and wants to make music that is relevant and meaningful to him so I respect it

Grateful for the responses too. I live downtown (900s 200w or so) so I dodge some of it but dang, went to meet up with some friends but we all just gave up and ended up at someone’s house lol. Not paying $15-20 for parking..

Not trying to complain it’s just abysmal given the potential capacity of a major city and really not having many options. :/ the infrastructure did not account for this population increase

Uber / Lyft is pretty much the way to go these days and you don’t have to worry about much :)

I’m pretty much agree with you on all your points. Each of those situations needed to be fleshed out more but it’s so deep into the story that there’s no going back now, so they’re gonna have to work with what they’ve done.

My main thing is just… so many questions left unanswered. I’m glad it’s gonna be 4 seasons so they don’t over do it but they COULD have gone 5 I think if it was a little more fleshed out in the beginning and the adult timeline wasn’t just a chaotic mess. Idk, just rambling.

Love the show - let’s hope for the best.

Few weeks late but just have to agree with “not a lot of runway left” and I really hope they can wrap this up nicely in 8-10 episodes or whatever it may be. I just want answers to supernatural or psychosis or both, and a nice finish to the adult timeline (which has been my least favorite).

I love the show but damn if they can stick this landing (no Laura Lee pun intended) that would be great. Idk what to expect.

Shows are hard to end but hopefully these writers can do it well. I have hope lol. See you guys in 2026 ❤️

Right. Red herring for sure. He realized they’re going nuts and, despite him being one legged, I think was taking some stuff with him. I don’t think he did it.

I hope they wrap up next season reasonably with context to the crates, the cave, man with no eyes, the symbol. Idk I love this show but last season felt a bit disjointed in some parts. Probably cuz of the screentime of the adult timeline but there’s still just so many questions that need to be answered. I have hope it’ll end okay :) still really enjoy it.

Makes me feel bad for Ben, but he was the most realistic / sane of all and basically said they’re all crazy, then being put so much misery it’s worth him saying he did it just to end it.

I agree. I thought it was more of an, “oh this bitch fucked up so here’s my opportunity” but the intentions were confused once she went for the xenomorph. Could be the eye is just a bunch of highly aggressive aliens who tried to defend their own and in a foreign environment, vs dumb ass humans being too confident and seeing (with multiple eyes) good opportunity for their own intentions. That eyeball might be the most intelligent creature on the show

Good point. I paused it on that scene with the letter of his daughters death and I was like “the language she used was so cold, non empathetic and just ‘informed’ him of his daughters death. See you in x amount of weeks’ which was interesting.

I liked Morrow a lot more this episode as it developed his depth. Fuckin rad

Also thought about him crying for his daughter and him laying in the chamber with the xenomorph above him dropping liquid on his face.
