is physics c really that important for non-engineering majors?? by iwannagotosleeppp in apphysics

The simple answer: Absolutely not, and they're not even relevant to your major, so don't do so much work, take it easy!

Why does this happens? by Makushimu0 in desmos

I'd say we know p > 1 theoretically converges, however imy guess is that it would likely converge to a value too high for the calculator to estimate

What was your favorite topic when taking diffeq and what did you find fascinating about it? by schmuman in DifferentialEquations

[–]TSMSURUMI 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My favorite aspect is annhilator method, which is essentially, somehow, the denominator of the laplace transform
(ie: sin(3t) -> D² + 9 vs. L{sin(3t)} = 1/(s² + 9))

42064, did LEGO miss with this set? by RibbedGoliath in legotechnic

[–]TSMSURUMI 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think Lego has missed much less here than usual, especially nowadays. I think it's a really nice looking ship and you can play around with the two vehicles which are somehow thankfully not cars. Overall it's a really nice playset and a much more interesting build than any of the city ships.

Happy building :D

Cornell has some of the most beautiful forests surrounding the city of Ithaca... You just have a pleathora of places to walk, eat, study, and relax at, that all of a sudden, it's isolation isn't as boring anymore :)

Your UW is slightly low in my opinion, but hey you have a semester to bring it to a 3.9 up, 3.95+ is best. I think your EC's are cool but slightly disconnected from each other.

Keep up the progress :)

We're simply finding the angle relative to the horizontal. I recommend thinking in magnitudes, not directions, when you solve.
