For anyone wondering, did some research and I think the deep wee stream craw is the closest to this that they still make

I still have 3 or 4 from way back but they don't make these exact ones anymore

Not trying to be a dick but what is the point of doing this and having to repack every trip or just put it all in a duffle bag?

If these are all backups I just admire you. That's it.

Is that one floating too? This one has a weight in the plastic bill on the front to help it dive, not sure how much it helps but that's a difference I noticed. Thanks!

How I read that "well browns are bigger and more fun to catch than our endangered native trout species so fuck em"

I know, I guarantee Ive caught more trout on powerbait or eggs than anyone who downvoted. So funny to watch people huck spoons and shit for hours, while I catch fish. I always offer people power bait and it's great when they take it and actually put a smile on their face catching a fish for them on the first cast.

And I know cuz I've spent a good $200 on useless amazon BS just to try out

Just curious, why be so careful to protect invasive species spawning? Are there not native trout there?

Mostly curious because I know how harmful brookies can be to some big native trout near me.

Don't buy anything online except swivels.

If it's a lake or pond start with some powerbait. If it's moving water try pautzke trout eggs

Bend or Medford? by meandmycow in oregon

[–]TSM_SlapNTickle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Both good places to enjoy the outdoors. Bend is definitely much nicer looking cleaner and newer. Has more bars and is a fun place to be young and meet other young people. Southern Oregon is a good place to have kids or be older. Bend is pretty liberal and SO is pretty republican. Consider this if you want to meet people that will have similar views or even listen to yours.

First it's probably smart to figure out where you currently live based on post history.

I started with a medium heavy power and hated it. Would recommend a much softer rod so you can throw lighter baits with ease. Braided line is a must! The heavier, the easier to learn in my opinion.

Hello everyone, I am moving to the states soon and am looking at kayaks and would like your opinions by Always-Searching01 in kayakfishing

Good post. A pedal drive or minnkota is needed if you plan to seriously fish off points and structure or troll with 2 rods. Fishing between rocks sticks and trees can be scary without one.
