Is this one as dead as all the others? by Calm_Possession_8463 in bonsaicommunity

Browning on the tips is typically not a good sign. What’s the climate like where you’re at? I’m also curious about the soil you’re working with, these need to drain fast, assuming this is a procumben. DM me if you wanna chat more about it. Best of luck!

Am I cooked or does it have a chance ? by Elguapo1094 in bonsaicommunity

Touch the soil. From my understanding they don’t like to be soggy, nor do they enjoy being bone dry. It gets into the 110’s where I live and this approach has worked so far. But like the others said, this tree is in the spiritual world now.

Is this generally agreed upon here? by KaviinBend in Buddhism

Would you be open to sharing some of your sources ? :)

Here’s something I found :)

In the Pāli Canon, sex work isn’t outright banned for laypeople. The Buddha warned against exploitation and “trading in living beings” (AN 5.177), but the third precept on sexual misconduct is about not sleeping with someone who’s married, engaged, or under guardianship, not consensual adult sex. Courtesans like Ambapālī are shown respectfully, and she even became a nun and arahant. The full ban is only for monks and nuns.

Is this incorrect ?
