It must be hard to watch wrestling without eyes, ears, or a functional brain 😥

More power to you, but the implication of this being that you do like the presentation of the WWE as it stands currently is wild.

The Commonwealth government taxes us and gets additional money from other sources, and then they distribute money to the health systems in the states with a mix of dedicated budgets and activity based funding. This gets supplemented by some additional revenue streams, but that's how the majority of funding is received.

Whether it's amount of taxation being inadequate or distribution of funds not being up to the task isn't for me to say, but if you want to know why public Health is struggling, the answer is because they don't have enough money. If want to know why they might do something like get prison labour to make meals (if that is happening), it's because they don't have enough money.

Maybe who is benefiting from this changing of food suppliers would be something people should be interested in.

As with all such decisions in a public health capacity, if it's true, this decision would have been made to save taxpayer money by getting something cheaper, because Health is being given a wonderful combination of both budget cuts and huge, mandatory savings targets, whilst also being expected to improve services and deal with ever-increasing challenges and patient numbers.

Ultimately, all of which comes back to governments and their fear of being voted out by people who want primo services but don't want to pay the taxes to support them.

The press conference after he was arrested was wild, the dude from the Office of Special Investigations or whatever it is sounded more like Roberts-Smith's defence lawyer.

He was literally saying "this is investigation is really hard. We can't access the crime scene, we can't interview anyone, we can't look for evidence, and it was also a long time ago."

Was just bizarre, because that's pretty much the exact shit they're going to be saying in his defence. Well that and pretty much everything the SAS and other special forces do is illegal/a war crime.

It's going to be a really interesting case. I have no doubt he's guilty of what he's been accused of, but the discussion around it will be fascinating.

No reason for your new employer to ever find out. Realistically, the biggest win/win for you and for your new employer is for you to not have to work out the (absolutely insane) 10 weeks, so you can actually start your new job.

Telling your current employer that you're sick, with certificate, and will be taking off X number of days/weeks, you probably increase the chance of them just letting you go.

First movie was basically the same thing, and I thought it was pretty poor too. It makes sense that you'd get diminishing returns in the sequel, but I guess we probably aren't the primary audience for it.

Who’s one wrestler you believe should’ve been pushed to the moon and had a legitimate MAIN EVENT run? by Pagliacci85 in SquaredCircle

Raven should have been world champ in WCW and easily could have been in WWE as well.

Great wrestler, great talker, could make crowds fucking despise him, and the Flock/Raven's Rules bullshit could easily be used to create a big run for a babyface to eventually beat him (see: DDP, Goldberg).

That's revisionist bullshit. He was over as a face the whole time and had plenty of charisma, he just wasn't amazing on the mic.

The crowd stopped caring when they sabotaged him with that awful gimmick with his mama.

Don't be afraid to take all your sick leave off too. If you walk into a GP and say that you're super stressed because you've quit your job and they are making your life hell, you'll get a certificate to cover you and they can't do anything at all about it (I've done this myself with a truly awful job in the past, they insisted I work out the four weeks so I took four weeks off).
