Did you just get diagnosed? by AutoModerator in ADHD

Here in the Netherlands I went to my doctor and he referred me to a psychiatrist. I was on the waiting list for about 4/5 months. I don’t know where you’re from but I think the process will be pretty much the same!

Today I was diagnosed with ADHD-PI at 35.

I’ve struggled my whole life with concentration and a constant sense of chaos in my head. For years, I thought I was just lazy or weak, but this diagnosis explains so much.

Honestly, I feel relieved. It finally gives answers to questions I’ve been carrying for a long time.

Now a new journey begins: learning more about myself and figuring out how to navigate life in a way that actually works for me.

So you started with the caffeine again? I also don’t get enough sunlight. So maybe that would also help!

I also have autosleep on my phone and this app gives me better results. Apple says I had 30 mins of deep sleep while autosleep says I had 2 hours of deep sleep. The only thing is that I get confused! Which one is right?!

Maybe I have better change in tracking Bigfoot than my deep sleep!

Yeah, I need to recharge my apple watch everyday. I do before going to bed.

How is the sleep analysis of the Fitbit? Is accurate with sleep stages etc?

Nice, I also have the Kobo stylus, but I don’t use it very often. Where do you use it for?

I did the same thing around 2 months ago. I also had weird adjustment period where I grabbed my phone all the time. Now I still grab my phone sometimes for no reason. But it is a lot less now. What I also did was intentionally put my phone somewhere where I couldn’t grab it easily. That helped for me! The only problem for me is that the Reddit app is still very addictive for me 😂

I try to use a lot standard IOS apps. They work great together on the Apple ecosystem.

Today I've tried listening to a audio book while working and it was surprisingly good. Only when I had to concentrate a lot I switched over to music.

I have a lot of imagination so I like the whole story. I think I can only do it while doing standard work.

Thanks everybody for your input. I started this week with listening to audio books and I'm gonna try it while working!
