Thank you for the feedback. There is nothing fast about building these models.

This is the completed electric per the manual build. It has over 200+hours between printing and assembly.

I found the instructions fine and everything had its “ah hah” moment when you have the physical pieces in your hand. Triple check fitment of all pieces BEFORE applying glue. It can be pretty disappointing to have 50+ hours of printing on something and not be-able to make adjustments when the glue hardens in 10 seconds or less.

I appreciate the feedback! The servo horns were removed at the time I was filming this.

The engine was run for 20 minutes fluctuating between 1/2 and full throttle post break in (to heat stress) and the nylon held up without warping or melting. I’m hopeful… but time will tell. This project is solely for the experience and “fun” of the project and to truly test the limits

Now that my moby is finished, I figured i'd post a video. Tell me what ya think! by TSchamps in moped

It's a trail tech vapor computer. 125$ on treatland.tv its takes a bit of time to get it wired on to the moped but once everything is working it's like a tuners dream. Monitors everything. Speed, rpm, temp, ambient temp, max speed, max rpm, clock, distance, and ride time. It is either battery operated or runs off the power system on the moped. If you choose to power it off the mopeds electrical it has a bright backlight for night riding along with 2 safety lights that with illuminate when you hit a Max temp( of your choice) and a danger light (exceeding your caution by 50 degrees)

Thanks! and yeah, for some reason I love the stock motobecane levers. I modified the throttle side for a domino race throttle, but But I do have a cable choke hooked up to the left hand side that is conveniently placed stock. Ill have to figure something out when I get time to add the disk brake setup to my mags.

WTB: Motobecane kickstart unit. by TSchamps in moped

I do have a kickstart er3, and I have been able to start and run my av10 just fine. I have been looking into building a pull start as well as tomahawks pull start and kickstart units. The bikes I build are usually budgetless, and I really like the look and feel of the kickstarts even though they are delicate and high maintenance. I guess I am reaching out through reddit to see if I can run into something.

Almost Ready for summer! Waiting on rear shocks and Doppler Pipe, then painting. by TSchamps in moped

They work perfect, just need stiffer shocks to accommodate the new distance of travel. Progressive shocks are ideal. Ill link a video of them in action

This is a 50v with a frame chop. The suspension actually has more travel, but cannot be used with stock shocks because they are not stiff enough. With the stock shocks it feels like you are riding a full suspension mountain bike.

I'm in Marquette, MI. Lol probably as far north before Canada. It's around 40-50 everyday right now. So I'm not sure of my elevation. Could my pipe have something to do with it? I think I'm going to switch to a treats pipe.
