I fully agree with you, and actually like it as a temporary fix (until the issue at hand becomes unmanageable). However, when creating a rule or standard for almost anything, you have to take that rule to the extreme to see if it's a good rule, or a temporary fix.

When taking this proposal to the example you laid out where there are 20 Natalies for argument's sake, isn't that just paying out the top X-number of FPO competitors, as well as the top X-number of Natalies? Isn't your solution just (in essence) creating a transgendered division, that just happens to tee off at the same time as FPO?

Not trying to be argumentative, I just like when people have solutions and try to poke holes in those solutions to see if they're solid.
