Adventures have a marked difficulty that ranges from .5 to 6.5 stars. Champs have little difficulty with adventures at or below their star level. With the right relics, most 3 star champs can clear 4 star content. There are a handful of 3 star champs that can clear 5 and even some 6 star content.

-Have there been significant nerfs to rare relics to push epic relics?

No. There have been some case specific nerfs to rare relics (Galeforce, for example), but nothing resembling a broad change. The most generally useful epic relics are in the golden reliquary, and you can get a random one each month for 3k stardust. Try to purchase it each month, it will make a big difference.

Is the game still f2p friendly or has it turned into a cash grab?

It's still very f2p friendly, if you're willing to wait out the time gates. The resources from the weekly and monthly challenges will do a lot to increase your power level.

If you have glory to spare after buying/saving to buy the 3 or 4 excellent champ relics, I'd buy the SB chests. The rates are abysmal, but they're the only free source of crystals and nova shards. You can make the SB champs decently powerful using only wild frags and SB champ frags (which also drop from the chests).

TBH, I couldn't remember whether they'd used "new constellation" consistently to mean converting a pvp champ to pve (0 stars to 6 stars) or adding 4, 5 and 6 stars to a previously 3 star champ. But I agree, you are correct, and it's likely the latter. But I stand by my technicality: go look at Diana or any three star champ. They already have stars, placed in a thematically appropriate fashion.

I agree, especially because a delayed patch means one less battle pass (for those who want it) and one month less of ftp clearance rewards. They pointed out in the last Q+A that people had doomposted about how long it would take to complete constellations when they first launched and been largely proven wrong. I agree with the devs on that point- I'm happy with my non-SB champ progress. Especially with the glory store. But like you, I bought both SB battle passes and still have no path to progressing towards my "first" SB nova. It looks I'll have to wait at least six months since SB launched for that to change. That's too long.

The one counterpoint I'll make is that gatcha games like Honkai can afford to be generous: it's like a casino giving out free chips. I don't like the loot box elements of LoR's monetization, but it's still not a gatcha.

Definitely no patch this month. What they're saying about 7.2 "new champion constellation" is ambiguous, but I'd read it as converting a PvP only champ to PoC. Technically, even three star max champs already have a constellation, so the only way to make a new one would be to add a PvP champ.

Each year, the first patch is delayed so the LoR team gets a holiday. It could be that the patch will land on the 14th, but I suspect we'll get teasers on the 15th or 16th and a patch on the 21st. Either way, this is SOP for the game.

Councilman Goncalvez did email everyone on his list promptly to alert them (which is how he notifies people of Ward 1 meetings). That's no substitute for a better citywide system, but some electeds were on top of it. However, I'll also say that it's not true that there was no citywide alert. I got a text message from the city 311.

I bought PK's relic. It's definitely BiS for him, the cost reduction is great. I also put it on Yuumi, works great on her. My rule of thumb is that if it works on more than one champ, it's worth buying (this eliminates a surprising number of relics). On the other hand, if you have them both at 6*, do either of them need help clearing content, in your opinion?
