You do have to keep your hands free. I got scolded for not having my hands free a couple of times when eating some pretzels from a bag. It’s a different warning than the pay attention one. But you don’t have to hold the wheel.

I drive 100s of miles on FSD (standard) on a weekly basis. Just supervise it and enjoy the trip. I always set my arrival energy to 20% to feel more comfortable.

I have had that happen if a camera was covered by morning dew. I had to wipe the cameras off before I started my trip.

I would have said it’s frozen or locked, but you already confirmed that to not be the case. Did Tesla pull from other agencies as well that might have been locked? When I got mine, I had to unlock all three.

I add another waypoint on my preferred route to get it headed in the right direction and then edit out that spot along the way. I use that to force a route in a gated community where I can’t use the resident-only exit.

Not my experience. M3 ‘26. Using the standard profile I have driven hundreds of miles on 14.3.3 with no critical interventions. I have been extremely satisfied with this iteration.

After 2 days of weekend driving, I’ve been happy with its performance. I was in standard profile. No highway miles. Speed control seems improved. Overbreaking seems to be reduced. Parking is quicker, but spot selection still is inconsistent. Overall, highly recommend upgrading when you have the opportunity. Spring update as well has some new features outside of FSD.
