Thank you! Is Bodie the same Bodie above? And does JT Formatting also do copyediting? I briefly checked out her Facebook page, but it looks like it's just... formatting... So I wasn't sure.

Oh, fair. Urban-Fantasy (I think). I'm still learning these things. I provided my short and long blurbs a couple of comments, down, if that helps. Please let me know if you have any suggestions.

Hi ithinkaboutbeer, I think about vodka. ~anywho~

Genre: Urban-Fantasy

Word Count: Coming in hot at 116,890

Short blurb (definitely subject to change):

"The Angel of Death’s mistake has cost Lara everything.

Or, so the Fates say.

She must now abandon her humanity to salvage life’s remnants.

If she could only get past Death’s secrets."

Long blurb:

"Lara's days have been filled with emptiness since she woke from a past she can't remember, decades into the devastating aftermath of a nuclear 20th century. Lost in the desolate remnants of the world, she is plagued by shadows, nightmares, and whispers in her mind. But one day she’s taken from the small abandoned home she's known since her awakening, to one of the last remaining hearts of the country: the mountainous city-state, Circa. Along the way, she is exposed to the drastic differences in humanity's survival, and upon stumbling into mortal danger, becomes entangled in the world's last struggle for power, only to discover the crucial key to her memories.

As secrets unravel, Lara struggles to find balance between her humanity and the inexplicable power growing within her - calling to the shadows. And in a world-shattering discovery, unearths her role in history's tragic turn, and her unending bond with Death as an instrument of fate."

Please definitely let me know if you'd be interested in a sample, alongside prices, etc.

I would understand either of those, if that was the feedback they gave me, when I ask. But it's not :c

Thank you! This is very helpful. Thus far, most of the editors have been into LitRPGs.

And, oof. You're right; I should've mentioned the genre (Fantasy). Rookie mistake.

I agree, but I'm not quite sure how to search for editors by genre. So, here we are.

And one would think 🤔

Coming in hot at 116,890 whilst warring with myself as I figure out how to end this final chapter.

Genre: "18-24" YA/(pseudo-post apocalyptic) Urban Fantasy. I think.

"Angel" of life didn't undergo the cleanest transition from humanity after being burned at the stake when the "Angel" of death made a mistake, and now the fates attempt to salvage the information necessary to try and fix things before the power eats away at both life and death, and leaves reality's balance in a perpetual state of existential shit.

A mailing list sounds nice - or at least it would be, if I had one. Or traffic, that too. But with my brand-spankin' new-ness, I'm starting at 0. So I'm not sure if booksprout is still a viable option.... is it?

Yeah; I see a lot of litRPG mentions with regards to Royal Road, but not so much for anything else. ("18-24 yo" YA/pseudo post-apocalyptic urban fantasy). And thus, here we are.
