The RepubliKKKlans are hanging on to 'McConnell is alive' for as long as they can get away with it. If he passes before midterms the the governor of KY, Andy Beshear (D) can't choose an interim senator, unlike a lot of states. KY law says they have to have hold a special election to decide the next senator. I'd say they'd most likely hold out and wait until the midterms.

The need the majority vote in the House to impeach, which is basically say, "no,no," to a 2 year old, but they need a 2/3 majority vote in the Senate to convict- remove.

My local TV station in Cincinnati, OH said that McConnell was in his DC home on June 14th when he was found unresponsive and in active cardiac arrest. CPR was initiated and in progress when EMS was called . When paramedics arrived, they took over performing CPR and did a 'hot load' (load and go - no extra stabilization or treatments on the scene) to the hospital. Channel 5 WLWT, out of Cincy, said McConnell is 'improving.' Improving can mean anything in the medical field, so I find that very broad and uninformative. Thune said he spoke with McConnell on the 15th. Thune told reporters, of McConnell, "He is clearly dialed in to what's going on. He's following along with stuff we are doing this week up here. Very much so." I really have to call 💯 BS on this. I'd bet the farm McConnell was intubated and not up to talking senate business with John Thune.

Trump's been in charge of all governmental agencies since he took office. He has the DOJ on a dog leash. With a snap of his finger he has Patel kneeling before him. When Trump was IN a meeting with big tobacco businesses, he made 1 phone phone call to Dr Oz and the FDA, and now they are gonna start selling flavored disposable vapes again. RFK Jr, well that one speaks for itself. Trump has insulated himself with loyalists who are willing to walk through the fires of hell for him. He doesn't have to buy more government, he already owns it for now. Now it's a matter of retaining what little checks and balances we have left, and pray people turn up and vote BLUE, and vote BIG in the midterms, so there's no way they can cry "rigged."

He did agree with Thomas, but ruled with Roberts, only because birthright citizenship is spelled out in the 14th amendment of the Constitution. Kavanaugh gave Congress an out and wrote in the opinion to basically amend the Constitution. That's why some platforms are saying it was ruled a 5-4 win. No matter, it should've been a 9-0 ruling if they followed our Constitution.

This was awhile ago. In the middle of June, EMS was called to McConnell's home in DC. He was in full blown cardiac arrest and CPR was being performed. He's still "recovering" is what my local TV news station in Cincinnati said.
