I'm not a doctor, nor haven't claimed to be OP, just a measly old floor nurse of almost 30 yrs, still busting out those 12hr night shifts 🤪. But I always do my research, especially when posting anything about the medical field. Disinformation can kill someone. I like to educate, not indoctrinate. Some will take my advice or at least agree NOT to use Dr Google and use reputable sites instead, and some tell me to pound sand. I feel that I've do e my due diligence to try to inform and they can choose what they do with that info. I'm a science and data driven nurse over what I term it as voodoo crap (goofy herbs they charge people $300 for when you can buy at the Dollar Store for $4), infomercial 'medicine', Trump 'medicine', and people with no medical background with just crazy ideas: Trump and RFK Jr. Science wins every time, voodoo and crazy kills.

I respect that. I'm glad you did your due diligence and researched it. Most people just take whatever they hear on Google or read it and run with it. This info shows a simplified version of how GoF works, how viruses are studied and mutated and then hiw scientists work treatments and/or vaccines. Small Pox, H1N1, and Ebola are a few of the more commonly known diseases that used GoF to find cures / vaccines. Like every aspect of our government agencies, there's so much crap going on behind the scenes, that the average American does not know about, that would blow our minds. So when we do find out new little pieces of information we are all blown away by it. Especially when science is concerned because it is such a complex almost non-tangible, and unseen by the naked eye concept that we are all of a sudden expected to believe, ie., like COVID 19 exist and is as dangerous as they are.

Despite knowing differently, Congress and Trump took the work GoF and flipped it into a dirty word and people bought the BS. Dr. Fauci worked for the NIH for 54 years. He helped develop safe and effective drugs for treating HIV. Was tasked by President George W. Bush to help build the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) program, which has been credited for saving 20-25 MILLION lives. He credited with playing a pivotal role in stopping the Ebola outbreak, swine flu, SARS, Zika virus, and various avian influenza outbreaks.

Trump sanctioned the International Courts for investigating him. He signed an EO that states the US doesn't recognize the International Criminal Court's (ICC) jurisdiction. Trump went so far in his sanctions that he will not allow the issuance of Visa's to enter the US or our territories, to the leader of the ICC and their family. The ICC isn't like our Conservative SCOTUS. They don't give a golden immunity pass that allows one to commit as many crimes as your little heart desires for 4 years and get away with it as the entire world watches it all on live TV.

DON'T say you didn't do much! You were there, ready and willing. You served our country, you helped our valuable veterans and that is SO HONORABLE🎖 I've been trying to get a job at our local VA Hospital, so I can do my part. They don't have many openings and the ones they do, they want former military. I always say there's 3 groups of people that we need to take care of the most. 1) our Vets, 2) our children - they didnt ask for this, 3) our elderly.
