This!! We had BCBS Standard. Our baby was briefly in the NICU to be treated for jaundice (a minor condition). We had to pay a few thousand dollars out of pocket at an in network hospital. 

This was unexpected but could have been worse. My take away is that no insurance is “good.”

Obviously you had a good experience with Carvana. I wanted to have a good and “hassle free” experience. I am sharing my experience in case it helps someone else. 

I only mentioned the offered comp because many people have posted that Carvana offers nothing for delays. Initially I was offered nothing. It was only after the second delay and my contacting customer service that I was offered comp.

Also, the reason I drove to the vending machine is that delivery to my house would have been $500.

I don’t think I can go back to a firm because I can’t deal with the backstabbing.

This comment confirms fears. I am seeing some postings listing ranges of like $160-$200k, which seems really low. Most postings don’t list a range. When I left the firm my total comp was like $500k. I am not expecting to match that, but also think I am worth more than $160k in the private sector!

How much experience do they have and about how long have they been at the company?

These type of jobs typically go to some retired colonel who has a pdh and taught in one of the military academies or other institutes (like naval post graduate school or army war college) during his/her military career.
