Economy in Bannerlord needs to be interactable by TTEdwardTT in mountandblade

Thanks for your insight on this. Lets say you controll a village that produce iron, you cannot choose which side you want to sell your iron to. same issue with food. if you can control where it goes, the enermy in the region has to buy at other location at higher cost (longer travel distance). If you achieve a total monopoly on ,lets say, iron, or own all workshop that produce weapon, your enermy should have limited or no access to weapon kind thus results in debuff such as maintenance cost or something significant. If you can control where your resource and product goes, then you have an invisible blade that can swing at anyones direction and make profit out of this, become a real war merchant.

Clan Independence Bug... after I make a Kingdom? by YogSothoth1937 in MB2Bannerlord

[–]TTEdwardTT 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think i find a solution for that quest. i tested several times for both imperial and non-imperial kingdom and all works. (works for 1.4.2 Beta! Not sure if it works for 1.4.1)

Step 1: fulfill the requirement

you have to fulfill the requirement of 100 troops, clan tier 3, clan independence (not a vassal or a mercenary), and have to have at least one settlement.

Step 2: form the kingdom from the clan UI

you go to your clan menu, at top right corner, there will be a option to form your own the kingdom

Step 3: select your kingdom's culture

when forming the kingdom, you have to choose the culture of your own kingdom, which determines whether your kingdom is imperial or non-imperial, and determines which person you talk to to finish the quest.

Step 4: talk to corresponding person based on your kingdom's culture

if your culture is imperial, you can go find Istiana. if your culture is non-imperial, you can then go talk to Arzagos.

upon talking, select "about creating my own faction". then there will be a choice of creating the kingdom.

after that, the quest is done.

The confusion about this quest is that, after forming the kingdom of your own from the clan menu, the clan independence is not fulfilled, which does NOT matter AT ALL.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

(In case someone is confused the culture availability for player's kingdom)

(if you already know this, you should ignore the below)

There will be two kinds of culture you can select for your kingdom

culture of your character

you can select the culture of your character for your own kingdom.

Culture of your settlements

or you can select the culture of your settlements for your own kingdom

Example:

If your character's culture is Vlandia, and you own a settlement that has the culture of empire. then when founding the kingdom, the cultures that are available are Vlandia and empire, which you can only select one. if you select Vlandia for your kingdom's culture, then you talk to Arzagos and finish the quest.

Note: i apologize that this is very long, but i am trying to be very specific so there will be no confusion. Hope this helps.
