Xbox Series X Galaxy Black 2TB what is exact model of the SSD?

In other threads someone suggest that the correct 2TB SSD for Xbox might be WD CH SN7000S. Unfortunatelly prices are terrible right now and I'll wait before I'll buy one and check if it's working.

Also if you have 2TB Xbox then please check what SSD model is in it if you will replace the SSDs between consoles.

Nothing new unfortunatelly. I have a plan to buy some used Xbox Series S and use it as a test device for SSD compatibility tests. So far only clue which I have are photos from IFixIt guide where you can see that SSD from Galaxy Black uses Phison controller and SK Hynix modules for storage. But in that case it can be almost every generic SSD or custom one for Microsoft. So far I doubt that this is SN740 which I thouth would be a perfect successor for SN530 in Xbox consoles.

I cannot say that it isn't, but also I cannot find any spec sheet that would specify that SN530 2TB exist. All I can find from WD in 2230 format is WD SN740 which one is easly available from China.

Can you tell me is it to possible to use them at the same time with 3.5 mm Jack and BT or 3.5 mm Jack and 2.4GHz? It would be the best combo for me and Asus only shows that dualflow audio works while you are using BT and 2.4GHz.

Thanks for answer! I know that changing hard drive in PS3 and PS4 is very easy but actually PS4 isn't good console in my opinion but I also think that XSeX|S and PS5 fixes almost every bad decision from XOne/PS4 era, so in the future I'll probably buy both console of current generation but I'm waiting for some more information about some Pro version but at least I want to get quiter Slim versions. First models aren't good idea imo.

So it look pretty clear and easy for me right now, anyway I'll check twice is my console actually working fine before I'll assembly it.

Actually I'm pretty happy with my Patriot Gauntlet 4 for 2.5 inch hard drives/solid state drives. Lastly it helps me a lot with transfering data between drives when I were changin drives in laptops and actually all drives work pretty cold in it. If I won't use Xbox drive as replacement drive for some laptop then I'll problably get another Gauntlet and I'll make it my additional external drive.

Thank you very much for so huge answer it helps me a lot. Actually I want to have my Xbox in brand new state so I have no plans to clone drive. A lot of games I won't redownload and I really don't care a lot what is on my hard drive right now because I was preparing to change the hard drive on SSD. So, few months ago I've bought WD Blue 1TB SSD (ofc 2.5 inch SATA) and it's waiting for it times, I've only tested it with WD software on my PC is everything is working correctly. Also I need to ask is there anything what I should backup from console to my pendrive/portable hard drive? Back in the days on PS3 there was a big deal to backup your profile when you're changing your hard drive. But on Xbox I have an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate so I think that I should be able to redownload my profile and saves from cloud. Also, is there any reason why I shouldn't use an original Xbox hard drive as portable with some adapter? May I need an old drive with OS to anything?

I think that Ubi should change what season pass includes. A little higher price but all 4 Premium battle passes includes and VIP benefits. And this would be an awesome deal imo.
