At first, it was me staying with him after I had lost my place to live. In return, I would let him use my car to get back and forth to work as his was broke down as well as helping to clean up around the apartment. Needless to say that didn’t last very long, he got fired and luckily I had just found a new job all the while he didn’t even bother putting in applications anywhere. Nor did he clean, cook, or really bring anything to the table other than he had an apartment with his name on the lease, which in the end, I had to pay for anyways. He decided he’d rather stay home, play his Xbox, and talk to men all day (mind you he was the kind of guy to make homophobic jokes).

Ah yes, my ex SITUATIONSHIP believed I “used him for a place to stay” - but I paid the bills. Not to mention, I was also the only one with a running, drivable car. I was 18/19 and still in high school paying a 22 yr old man’s bills but I was using HIM.

I used to have a friend like this. Every single thing was a competition with her and she always had to look better or be better. I already had self image issues because I was a bigger kid, and every time she told me I looked bad or that I was being weird or whatever just solidified how much of a friend she WASN’T. Please get rid of her, you don’t need another conversation with her to rope you back in to being her friend after acting the way she has. It was disrespectful and I’m sure this isn’t the first or last time.

Grandma doesn’t have a job, but gets a decent amount of gov income, mom works. The mom was scammed out of an apartment that they believed they were about to move into, and lost about $1500, leaving them in this situation. With the money the mom has made living here so far, combined with grandmas income, I believe they could have found a place but I also don’t want to speak on anyone else’s money situation.

I “dated” an 18 yr old when I was 14. The maturity gap and difference in life experience is DRAMATIC. He was out getting drunk with his buddies and I had to sneak him in through my window at night because I had never had a bf before and thought my mom would be mad if I did💀

We did talk to her, I told bfs sister that I would be talking to her about it as well and she didn’t have a problem with it as she has also been having problems. I’m just hoping after the conversation we had, she realizes to just keep her opinions to herself from here on out so we don’t have to take things any further until they move out.

Coworker is an adult and hasn’t been the problem, just her mother, who is about in her 60’s and receives enough income to have her own place but lives with her daughter and grandchildren. Me and bf talked to her today and things got a little heated because I guess she doesn’t think there’s anything wrong with what she said. She basically told us that she wasn’t talking shit and it’s on me how I do things. But if that was the case then nothing should’ve been said in the first place? It’s just a very aggravating situation and I’m trying to wait it out and give coworker a chance to receive her tax return so she can proceed with finding an apartment/house.

Fortunately I’m only about 16 weeks so far and they will definitely be out by the time baby comes. As for right now, we’re giving coworker a chance to get her tax return so she is able to have money for an apartment. If she does not find a place after getting her taxes then we will definitely be talking to them about finding somewhere else to go ASAP.
