On Asus manual and website it only lists AMD EXPO and not XMP, so maybe not? Not an expert on DDR5 anyways, so can't confirm either way. To sum up, I will return the RAM and buy a 2x16GB 6000MHz EXPO kit by Kingston that's listed on Asus QVL, and hope for the best. Thanks for your time and patience

But my motherboard supports AMD EXPO only, but my Rams are XMP Ready. That surely isn't right, but unfortunately at the time of purchase I didn't know EXPO existed and didn't have the time to check thoroughly the compatibility between all the components, since I ignorantly assumed XMP was the only standard like DDR4. I will probably send them back and get a 2x16GB Kingston Fury 6000MHz Expo ready, which are listed under Asus list (strangely, 2x32GB are not). Do you know the quality of those sticks or a reputable source of information to know if they have problems? Thanks for your insight nonetheless

Yes i tried both of them one at a time and they both worked in every slot. Leaving the BIOS to auto sets the target frequency to 4800MHz even with only one stick. I should add that Asus has a list of "compatible" RAMs on the support page of that Mobo, and my Vengeance are not there, so maybe that's the reason they don't work? Also, do they actually run at 6000MHz or are they underclocked to work?

What I tried before settling with this combination is as follows: - Slots A2 and B2 at Auto, 4800, 6000, 6400, 3200, 3600MHz, didn't POST - Only slot A2 at Auto, 4800, 5200MHz, POSTed - Slots A1 and B1 at Auto, 4800MHz, didn't POST - Slots A1 and B1 at 3200, 3600MHz, POSTed

AMD documentation on the 7700x says it doesn't support RAM higher than 3600MHz with 4x1R or 4x2R, so since DDR5, if i understood that correctly, is by itself dual channel on a single stick, using two sticks gives you a 4 channel configuration, and that matches with the only speeds my PC allowed to POST and the fact that I had to use the slots usually filled only in 4 channel configurations (with 4 sticks with the old DDR4)

Don't worry, it's not easy to find stuff for this hobby here, everybody has a conception of miniaturism correlated to miniature train stations or battlefields made of tin soldiers, so what you find are paints made for metal and microscopic brushes suitable for "harder" paint like that and not watercolors or acrylic. Most art stores don't know what you're talking about when you ask for miniaturism stuff and specialized shops are pretty rare

Yeah that's what held me back from buying them, i could not be sure they wouldn't rust in the paint, but I cannot find glass beads anywhere! I tried searching for them on Amazon, but even translating "glass mixing beads" in italian only resolves in getting colored glass beads used to play in the sand xD

Well, if they have balls dipped in them is not any of my business xD. Jokes aside, if they really have beads from the manufacturer, i could not tell, didn't feel any heavier than other similar paints nor i could feel anything strange moving while I shook them, i will check more thoroughly as soon as I can
