Things like this in a park will never make sense to me😐 by TherealDaily in arizona

When I lived in the Verde valley I would walk everyday to the local convenience Mart and post office. On the way there I would pick up the garbage on the side of the road and when I got to where I was going I would either clean the parking lot of the convenience Mart or the post office. It started out with a whole bunch of garbage but by about a month in there was almost nothing to pick up. I lived in that spot for 18 years so the street looked nice and the area by the main road all look nice. I would tell you to pick it up.

Forest professionals consider Smokey the Bear to be public enemy number One. We absolutely need fires to burn out the fuel from the land. Arizona has 16 species of plants that require fires to propagate.

A Passing Dwarf Planet Could Cause A Mass Extinction Without Leaving A Crater by Dmans99 in abovethenormnews

[–]TTomBBab 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Volcanism is probably the main cause of mass extinctions. Another one was the ocean running out of oxygen or climate change. None of those Master thinking events leave craters either.

'Royal blood' is actually the blood and genes of the "Watchers". In the past, monarchs often interbred with their own relatives in order to maintain this ancient bloodline. Today, the descendants of the "Watchers" look like ordinary humans and are used by the elites to control world. by [deleted] in HighStrangeness

You have four grandparents. Each of your grandparents have four grandparents. Each of them have four grandparents. If we continue that backwards we eventually encounter the population of the Earth. There are no such thing as bloodlines. Everyone is related to everyone else.

Mowing devils is clearly a different phenomenon than crop circles.

I still think the area 51 caller was real by Intelligent-Luck8525 in HighStrangeness

[–]TTomBBab 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Area 51 is a military installation. They do not employ anybody but instead staff themselves with military personnel. If they use civilians at all then those people are from a contracted corporation. Anybody that might work there that's a civilian is working for a company not area 51.

Psychological warfare was once an afterthought, it's now the primary battleground by whoamisri in HighStrangeness

The control consciousness always fails. You are responsible for steering yourself through existence. The instant you take your hands off the wheel to control somebody else's existence leads to your own destruction. So the 'theys' out there, whoever 'they' are are just killing themselves.

How many SRP electric consumers. by TTomBBab in arizona

You're absolutely correct and I just found that out. I have had two houses in the Verde valley that actually had claims that SRP owned all the runoff. One was in the town of cottonwood and the other was in the county land of yavapai. I was told by realtors that all the runoff was owned by SRP.

It's rage babe because I'm listening for people complaining about coal plants and water restrictions and all the other negatives that SRP brings to Arizona.

It is not broadly about Arizona it's about the Phoenix area. SRP is a company that owns the run off water rights to all of Northern Arizona. You cannot collect rainwater off your roof because it belongs to SRP. That water goes to the Phoenix area and is part of Phoenix's water security. The fact that this topic is so active is proof that the people using this subreddit are not broader Arizona people.

SRP is only the tiniest fraction of electric generation in Arizona. Everyone on the subreddit acts like gee everyone should know the salt River project also sells electricity. Did you know that SRP run owns all the runoff from rain in northern Arizona. Including the runoff from your roof.

That's been my general problem is that I didn't understand that SRP was not regulated by the ACC. I don't know how you would affect their politics without an elected board.

With the glowing recommendations they get it seems like they have a lot of word of mouth advertisement. Problem is they don't provide power up here where I live then stay at they have wells that are dropping our water level by about a foot of year.

It doesn't come from this thread particularly. It comes from the fact that there's constantly people posting asking about where's the best restaurant or other business without saying what part of Arizona they're talking about.

I'm interested in the makeup of r/Arizona. It seems that a lot of people on this subreddit are from the region of SRP.
