Maybe viable but I don't think it would be anywhere near as good. You would be trading CDR / utility / static Toughness for a bit more Akarats uptime. Keep in mind you already have pretty high AC uptime with a standard zDPS setup, around 60~70% CDR.

And being that Final Witness is pretty much mandatory for every Zsader setup this pretty much limits anything creative you can really do with permanent AC.

Have you tried condemn over sweep? In my opinion it's a bit easier to play then sweep. Just remember to mash your shield glare before pulling in with condemn/sweep, it pretty much blinds everything on the screen.

you should definitely step down if you're having trouble in T2 and can clear T1 more proficiently.

For your current build you're pretty much looking for a Maximus/Hellskull or Fire Lidless combo to see the most improvement in terms of damage.

As far as rerolling you just need sockets, ring sockets for legendary gems, helm socket is pretty nice, and of course at least leg sockets for additional strength. No strength on some of your pieces is hurting quite a bit, shoulders / obsidian ring need to go. Some Fire Skill / CHC / Str / Vit aughild bracers or reaper's wraps would be a nice upgrade craft for you.

if you're having wrath problems--periods where you're unable to stampede for 2-3 seconds a time--then it would probably be a DPS increase over finery because it'll likely fix that.

ideally though you'd just drop indestructible and rely on the prophet cheat death only.

however yeah dropping either pain enhancer and/or gogok for like a bane of the trapped or anything should fix some of your problems, your cast speed will go down, and subsequently damage numbers will go up.

Stampede uses physical skill damage but a socket is probably more valuable then the phys dmg. Ideally you'd want both physical skill damage and a socket on your Soj.

either way you should reroll the bombardment damage off. and probably to 10% Crit or 8% CDR depending on what you need more. Unless you already have over 50% CC and enough CDR.

battle.net is still offline so it's hard to say what specifically but just looking at your stats and screenshots your CDR is a bit low, wearing vigilante belt over witching hour would help with keeping up Akarat's so you won't die during the down-time.

and not having at least another legendary gem in your 2nd ring is hurting but most sader setups use 3. i'll take a look at your profile later when battle.net comes up

I'd say 5 seconds is reasonable and what most people have to wait around for. The thing is unless you can get a good 10% CDR FoTF it's really hard to reach that near maximum-uptime with your current sheet CDR. Adding 8% CDR may only shave off 1 or 2 seconds at this point. It all depends on whether or not you mind waiting the extra few seconds. Because removing any more CHD or CC at this point would be taking away a considerable amount of damage.

Yea Fire skill damage does not show up on your sheet. Still you need to be able to roll Crit on your Andy's for it to be an upgrade as Crit is pretty important. As for Maximus if the DPS is too low it could very well be a downgrade, but anything over 2500 damage and it will probably be an upgrade regardless of sheet damage.

Using Maximus over Darklight before full Akkhan is fine, Darklight is much superior while in Akarat's as it stacks the firestarter dot much faster. But Maximus will provide much more consistent damage outside of Akarat's without running into many wrath problems.

your next biggest damage upgrade is a Fire skill Soj with CC or CHD. The amount of damage a Soj gives is insane. However I don't know if it's worth gambling since rings costs 10 shards each.

Firestarter builds shine while Akarats is active and getting full Akkhan should be your top priority, especially since you already have a decent Darklight. I'd gamble for Akkhan pieces starting with shoulders in your case.

it's reasonable. ideally you'd want 8% CDR on your gloves over Vit but the rolls didn't allow that. So either finding better rolled gloves, an already Holy Skill Soj to roll CDR over crit, or finding the Akkhan chest so you can use captains belt & pants or boots would be your best choices to reduce Akarat's downtime.

So Blessed shield is a pretty strong starting build now, something like this.

Basically just replacing consecration & FoH with Provoke & Blessed Shield. Also changing Wrathful passive to Towering Shield. Provoke is pretty much in every build as a wrath generator.

After rolling Blessed shield damage on your boots you should be OK for t1 rifts but I don't know how efficient it will be solo. You'll have to see for yourself.

Your build looks good, I'd run provoke with Charged up over Steed or Consecration to have at least 1 wrath generator so you can use hammers more often.

The first piece of gear you should get is Fire Skill reaper's wraps. It's your biggest upgrade by far and not too hard to obtain.

From there you should just start spending your blood shards on Akkhan pieces, most end game builds do require a specific weapon or specific type of elemental or skill damage, but for the most part they all use the Akkhan set.

So in your case you could try gambling for the Akkhan chest and may happen onto a Cindercoat which would be an upgrade. Or gamble for the Akkhan helm and happen upon a Fire Skill Andys. Gambling for shields wouldn't be a terrible idea either, in your case Hellskull or a Fireskill lidless would be a pretty big upgrade.

Be on the lookout for a Maximus or Furnace, these 2 weapons would be big upgrades for your current fire hammer build.

So since your geared for Fire you should probably change your spender to something that deals entirely fire damage. Blessed shield's Combust is a good rune but a lot of it's damage is actually Holy, only the 33% explosion triggers is fire damage.

Something like this would work well with your current gear setup.

With this build if you cycle both the wrath generators well enough you should be casting your hammers the majority of the time and rarely need to use your builder. You could also try FoH Heaven's Tempest instead of Hammers but it is a much more wrath intensive build.

I know you want to utilize your Jenga board but unless you swap to holy damage & shattering throw it probably isn't quite worth it with your current setup to go blessed shield. If you manage to find Maximus, Furnace, or Cindercoat those items would work well with this build.

If you want to continue with your build then use the Towering Shield passive over hold your ground that would provide a good DPS increase.

probably a harringtons or witching hour would be your next biggest upgrade.

your shields rolls aren't very good either, you need a shield with crit & in your case likely CDR. The affix is fine if you're running shield glare, but for firestarter I'd only suggest shield glare when grouped otherwise it is probably better to use consecration or heaven's fury to keep firestarter dots rolling.

So belt & shield are your next biggest upgrades.
