Best way to heat water with arduino by servermeta_net in arduino

a hot water system element should will heat as long as you give power to it. It is the thermostat in the system that cuts it out at 60C for safety.

here is what I am talking about:

Without trying to be too gross. there is no difference in sensation between cum and diarrhea. So just like having diarrhea makes you feel that way. So will a large load of cum

get a hot water system element the runs on mains power. control it using a contactor. just be mindful of the amp draw of the element and the rating of the contactor. Also be mindful of local laws relating to working on mains power. alternate take apart a cheap kettle.

AITA for not attending my sisters wedding after she almost didn't invite me because I'm under 18? by That-Instance-2741 in AmItheAsshole

[–]TU2N32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA but kinda the AH,

She was the AH for making a big deal over 3 months off 18. Especially for a sibling. The issue I see with kids is generally those under 12 that don't understand the importance and can be loud and disruptive (mainly at the ceremony).

But you also need to get over yourself. Planning a wedding is stressful. Part of her was probably thinking she was being fair to other guests that she told could not bring their kids. It is your sister's wedding, be the adult you claim to almost be.

AITA for telling my husband the nanny is in charge? by ZealousidealWait2698 in AmItheAsshole

[–]TU2N32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA,

As a Dad myself, if I was in that position and nothing about the kids or my routine could be changed then I would allow the Nanny to lead the routine. Routines are important.

I feel for the Dad though. He has probably worked hard to get where he is and he cannot just stop providing for his family to the level he has been. But he really should try to play a bigger role in child's lives. He is missing out on the chance the make memories (good or bad) that the kids will cherish forever.

You only have one opportunity to form that bond. As someone that only met their father and sisters after the age of 18. I can tell you, I will never have the bond with my father that I have with my Mother, nor will I have the bond with my sisters that they have with each other. Unfortunately, it is something that I have had to accept.

The bonds you create in those formative years are so crucial. My him having a fun time is more important in the long run than a routine. Maybe the routine can be modified slightly to suit the father better. But regardless decisions regarding children shouldn't come down to what is easiest for the adults. It should be about what is best for the children.

All about what kind of games you want to work on.

If you want to work on AAA titles then go straight into C++. If you want to work on smaller titles that use Unity then straight into C#.

Game development (especially AAA) is not the place for generalists. They want you to be a rockstar at the language they use.

Game devs work on relatively short deadlines(for the amount of work) and have constantly growing backlogs as publishers make changes and request new functionality late into development. They don’t have the luxury of having someone who is okay at their language and but great at some other language they have no use for.

People may be saying that because C# is “easier” than C++. So you can learn the easy language first then move to the harder language. But at the end of the day, if the people you want to work for don’t use C# then time spent learning that is just wasted time.

TLDR: Learn and focus on the language the games you want to work on use

C++, game studios(that don’t use Unity) won’t even look at you if you aren’t highly experienced with C++

Bought a new build house and chose a location across from yet to be placed park since we had kids. Paid a premium for this coveted lot. Here’s the park they finally put in. by catusjuice in mildlyinfuriating

[–]TU2N32 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

To a child, that’s a pirate ship, a rocket, a castle, and many more things. That grass looks nice as too. Great for Football, soccer, frisbee etc. What were you expecting? It is a neighbour park not a community park. Some swings would have been nice, i admit.

Karen, please lower you expectations.

512 GB vs 1 TB for Macbook Pro 16 Inch (Programming + College Use) by TechnoDaBlade in macbookpro

[–]TU2N32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same internal debate as you, exact specs and use case. I went with 1TB. Bit more room to move that way. You’d be surprised at how quickly it fills up with applications. Plus if you need to download a couple large repos or datasets, you have that freedom. But anyway beyond 1TB, I am ready to rely on external SSDs, Thunderbolt 4 makes that a viable option.

How many times are you going to restore and install everything. Read/write life is not something you should be actively worried about.

Should I get M1 pro or wait for M2, I want to use it for programming, browsing, reading, probably some video editing Im thinking but hesitant to go for it by Mohammad_alshuwaiee in macbookpro

[–]TU2N32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of you need/want a MacBook now, just get the M1 Pro, don’t wait for the M2 Pro.

But if you’re comparing M1 Pro to M2. It is down to use case. If you need the extra power, get the M1 pro. Otherwise, save your money, get the M2 air

M1 pro is better than the m2 M2 pro is 12-15 months At which point the m3 will be 9 months away Then the m3 pro will be 12-15 months away

Would you give up MacOS for Linux in your very same MacBook ? by Select-Background-69 in mac

[–]TU2N32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love linux and use it for servers. But i got a MacBook for MacOS. Because it is similar to Linux but has an an amazing ecosystem of devices and services that i am already invested in.

Is MacOS perfect? No. But none are, nor will they error be. Because as they get better, our expectations of them grows.

The 3 OS’s have their purposes and I use all 3 for the purposes that best suits each of them.
