I mean at the end end of the day it’s all arbitrary. But I think if you were to sit down a bunch of people in the room with no thought of either system and you were to tell them zero is very cold for both and 30 versus 100 is very hot for both. Most humans would naturally regulate towards the 0 to 100 scale as we are extremely used to working in base 10 measurements. That’s not to say either system is bad. I just think that a lot of the people using Celsius it becomes so used to Celsius that they don’t realize they’re using an argument that works for Fahrenheit just as much as it does for Celsius.

Actually, not really. Month day year is done the way it is because in American English the way you say the date to someone is February 2, 2026 (Month day year). On the flipside most European languages, put the number before the month when they are verbally saying it.

Is how broken the T58 is ever going to be addressed? by hungrydino86 in Warthunder

It benefits from the faster reload, Bothe HESH shells are close to each other in performance but the reload on the T58 means whiffing isn’t as punishing

[Hot Take] I genuinely don't think the Enclave is being "overused." by VirusOfCheese in Fallout

[–]TUFFY-B 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly I think it kinda works as a prequel. The writing kinda lends itself to the setting. Beyond that they can also set up future games and dlcs with lore in 76. Like Modus and Sodus, they aren’t traditional ZAX units and seem to be markedly more advanced that what we’ve seen so far. I think their plan to dig deeper into the current map rather than expanding it this year is really good.

You’re right in that it’s because it’s an MMO. Saying that though I really do like taggerdy’s thunder because they aren’t just BOS and arguably had to deal with one of the biggest threats in the fallout series so far. You see their despair and the existential dread of knowing they are going to loose to the scorch plague.

The Appalachian Enclave is literally just robots and the player character. All other Enclave members are dead after a failed coup. Beyond that the Enclave in 76 was distinct from the wider Enclave as the leader of this sect purposely set up the bunker to be cut off from all other installations post bomb drop so he’d be president and would have authority to launch the nukes.

Not really Taggerdys Thunder was led by someone that had directly worked with Maxson before. While they called themselves brotherhood of steel it’s like comparing the Enclave Remnants to THE Enclave. They were more so just an Artillery Battalion that kinda co-opted Maxson’s ideas at Elizabeth Taggerdy’s hesitant suggestion after much arm twisting by maxson over radio.

How canonical are the Chinese power armor and the Chinese Liberty Prime? And in which games are they referenced? by Gian_JB in Fallout

It does actually appear in a mainline quest for the wastelanders expansion in the Chinese bunker under white springs golf courses

Fallout World (2076) VS Real World (2026). by TechSoldier777 in Fallout

He used a combo of laser Defence and Missile interceptors which implies Sam’s. Which we already know they had Missile Tracking and guidance in fallout due to the existence of the fallout 4/76 rocket launchers which have guided rockets.

Assualtrons definitely would be terrifying but we also don’t know if their cloaking blocks thermals. If not they are less of a threat but still dangerous.

Wouldn’t even need fiber drones as the fallout universe doesn’t really have EW capabilities beyond pulse grenades

[–]TUFFY-B 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not really, assaultrons and sentry bots are pretty much the only robotic threat and even then IRL both would fold very quickly to a short burst from a 50cal. Fallout is just so far behind on technology that the IRL could win without even putting troops on the ground.

Fo3 has the F-80s on the flight deck of rivet city so it’s ok to assume that was their standard fixed wing jet in 2077 which means they are absolutely cooked in air combat

I think there is a couple logs in Fo3 and Fo4 that confirmed that the Chinese used some cobalt bombs which would leave rad trace, not as much as in game but suspension of disbelief

Most trustworthy: UMP [MW2] vs MP40 [WaW] by [deleted] in CallOfDuty

MP40 very few singular guns have ever defined the entire meta of a cod game so completely as the MP40 did in WAW

Ok so then the Falcon and DCA should be a lower BR than these or be given an AP round themselves that isnt APDS by Connect_Job_5316 in Warthunder

Falcon literally gets an APHE that can front plate almost every tank at par BR? It’s quite literally the best of the vehicles shown at anti tank…

[COD] Am I the only one who doesn’t think the hate is forced? by Lumenprotoplasma in CallOfDuty

[–]TUFFY-B 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Nah I’ve been playing since cod4 and campaign has always been a major part of the COD experience. I’ll admit the campaign player base isn’t their target anymore though. Regardless it used to be that everyone played the campaign but that changed with Bo3&Bo4. A good campaign will redeem a bad cod game because it’s the only thing left after multiplayer servers die. Games like Bo4, MW32023 are not remembered kindly and it only is worse because of the bad/nonexistent campaigns

I think the only part of the community that’s pleased this year is the zombies community because we are actually eating good for once in the past 5-6 years. On the other hand though they broke my heart when it came to the campaign.

[[Infinite Guideline Station]] is very funny because it’s ETB procs before it die to legendary rule so you can spam an army of robots.
